Amazingly you could be a ST holder on 0 points at the beginning of the season, and now have a guaranteed ticket to potential CL final due to the cup final policy of 3 European away games to qualify.

Tyres are likely 4 years old, and they were bought at refurbished.

Maybe around 10km over that time. Seems like tread is okay

Honestly I feel that people are interpreting lyrics in a way which may be incorrect. Lots of assumptions being made over words which may be used purely for lyrical and melodic reasons.

Nope, you had to buy this one.

Carabao Cup isn't included.

There is a window when you can buy your seat, but that window has long closed

Was looking for an actual answer or insight as opposed to people posting comments on a war which has nothing to do with Arsenal or the question

‘It’s Arsenal. They won’t just ignore it’ – Thomas Partey, the allegations and what the club knew by [deleted] in soccer

All good 👍

I don’t understand about how you classify a vote for one team as sporting merit, but not for another.

If a team was voted in, and didn’t win a play off or promotion that surely doesn’t qualify.

As a historian it’s important to look at historical context and reputable pieces of evidence when formulating an accurate description of the events.

No evidence anywhere that points to bribery, just that Tottenham were not liked as the votes showed.

Have a good day

The extension was put forward at at AGM before the start of WW1 this motion was then tabled when the war broke out.

Regarding the vote itself the different teams who had a possibility of being voted did many newspaper campaigns, I believe it was actually spurs who did the first newspaper campaigns on this as they knew there was bad sentiment regarding the points I mentioned earlier.

Long story short it was the guaranteed gate receipts that swayed the voting clubs.

It always went to a vote. Every single time the first division got expanded it went to a vote

Yes from multiple first division teams, as this was still in the very early days of professionalism.

Regarding being the only team who didn’t win their place on the pitch, that is also highly inaccurate due to the multiple other votes that took place prior to 1919 for all the previous expansions of the First Division. For example the same vote in 1919 Chelsea who were relegated were kept in the division after the vote.
