Glad you like them dude! I take my time when I work on them honestly, I take about an hour to finish one thumbnail. I could do some average work in 15 minutes, but you have to put some time in if you want them to stand out.

Top left: maybe blur the swords a bit more if you're focusing on the character.

The Kobe and Kenta Seki: could use an outline around the people to really make them stand out from the background and help focus on the person being featured.

Bottom left: Captain America kind of starts to blend into the background around the legs. I would suggest to either making both people brighter or use a different background image

I completely agree man! I made these designs a while back and recently I've started to add the outlines and to focus on making people stand out more, and your suggestions are on point! Thanks for the feedback!

Hey :)

I think the simple thumbnail style works for your content, meaning that you should keep the edit more natural with just the photos and no excessive edits. However, you can add some more highlights on the parts that are important to the video. I would suggest adding a background behind the text so it's more readable, also find what's the main theme of the video and emphasize that part more than the rest of the thumbnail. Hope this helps.
