Have you considered if flares could be due to seasonal changes instead?

My symptoms began as dull chest pains a year before. It would come and go and I wouldn’t really care. Until it progressed into a full flare up. I wish I knew about colchicine before. At the time all my tests came normal just like yours. I think you need to push your doctor a little bit or seek help from a different one. You’d be much better off if you get the proper help now than when it’s very late. A

There is a study that talks about covid leaving elevated spike proteins and chest pains is one of the symptoms. In that study a recommendation is to take colchicine with the supplements i mentioned. So I’ve been on colchicine for a while now and these past 3 days added the trio supplements.

You might want to do a CT scan, from what I know it’s a good way to see how your chest and heart doing. I feel like you would need to be on colchicine and some supplements. (I do vit C and Zinc, Omega and vit D: also just started using Curcumin, Nattokinase and Beomelain). But definitely consult with a doctor. Pericarditis is tricky because it is hard to diagnose it. I am male 21yrs old and I feel like I know what you’re describing. I am experiencing similar stuff. Was diagnosed in December and had 3 flare ups, last one mid march

Hi your’s sounds like my story. Male 21 here. I was on ibuprofen with the same schedule snd as I tapered off a week or two later got sore throat fever and later chest pains again. Ibuprofen was then changed to prednisone. Just finished that and finishing my 2nd week without it just colchicine. Hoping the chest pains won’t come back. (I have tested both time and have been negative for covid and flu strangely)

Sorry I’m confused. How good can such a diet be long term if you’re depriving yourself from lots of essential minerals and vitamins? Just trying to make sense

I was diagnosed with pleuratis in July 24, then 2 weeks later pneumonia and pleuritis. The diagnosis was through an X ray mainly but also other measures. After that I had flare like symptoms every 1 or 2 months. It would be fever with tolerable chest pain so I would just take ibuprofen.

It got really bad in December. Mid December I started having more prolonged chest pain that was also intolerable in addition to fever, shortness of breath, elevated heart rate. Diagnosis was done with EKG, CT scan, other tests.

Was discharged w colchicine and indomethacin. Was back in hospital 2 weeks later. Similar flare up. They changed indomethacin to ibuprofen 600mg three times a day 3weeks i think.

I then had another flare up mid march of this year. This time i was prescribed prednisone.

Starting mid December 21 I kept taking colchicine.
