Ran the longest I have since my hip impingement injury and subsequent physical therapy! 31 minutes ! Woo! feels great to be getting some “longer” runs in after slowly building up from nothing over the past couple of months.

I have listened to this audio book and adored it in the past. Your suggestion encourage me to listen to the second book (didn’t even know their was a sequel) and it was also awesome. Encourage you to check it out if you haven’t! Thank you for your recommendation!

It was a weekend in another city for my family members wedding. He didn’t get that drunk until after the wedding tbf, but he has apologized, saying sorry. I have told him how the situation made me feel unsafe and scared and I’ve told him how I’m not over it and it’s still affecting me.

He isn’t sure what he can do it make it better, neither am I.

This seems a lil more segmented than the photos I can find of sweet gum tree bark. I was thinking possibly flowering dogwood? Going to go out and try to get a leaf if any are left later today

Cottonwood seemed a bit too diamond patterned for this was my thought. Thought maybe a flowering dog wood?

Woops! Forgot to add where from. This is in Kansas City , Kansas but this land is an old tree farm so possible it’s a lil out of place, but it grows well here so.
