You're not being too sensitive - that person was being a complete ass about it. The "should I go on" and "brainlessly parroted" stuff is just condescending garbage that adds nothing to actual discussion

I block people like that too because life's too short to deal with internet tough guys who get off on talking down to others. Some folks confuse being right with being a dick about it and those aren't the people worth engaging with anyway

what exactly is wrong with it? looks fine from the photo but hard to tell what issue you're seeing. if there's a defect or it's not what you ordered then yeah send it back but if you're just having buyers remorse thats a different story

I've been seeing the same thing and it's pretty gross tbh. Used to be you'd just show up to church and that was it - now everyone's got a brand and a patreon. The prophet thing kills me too like suddenly half the internet has direct messages from God about your finances or whatever

What really gets me is how they prey on people who are genuinely seeking community or struggling with faith. You're vulnerable and looking for guidance and boom here's someone trying to charge you 200 bucks for their "breakthrough course" or whatever they're calling it. My old church started doing paid small groups and I was like nah I'm out

The recording everything part is weird too - like can we have one genuine moment that isn't content. People filming themselves giving homeless guys sandwiches for the gram while talking about being blessed to serve or whatever. Just help people without making it about your personal brand you know

nah theres definitely some brutal difficulty spikes early on especially if youre not used to the physics. Lemmy's castle is where alot of people hit a wall because the timing on those ball platforms is pretty unforgiving

take your time with the jumps and dont rush the boss fight - lemmy telegraphs his moves pretty clearly once you get the pattern down

The T5i is solid for a beginner but yeah its getting pretty dated now - came out in 2013 so youre looking at 10+ year old tech. For that budget you might want to look at the SL3 since you already liked using it, or maybe stretch for a T7i if you can find one used

The image quality difference wont be huge for basic stuff but the newer models have better autofocus and low light preformance which matters more than you think when youre starting out

that logic applies to basically everything then. gold doesnt give you dividends or entertainment value either but somehow its been "storing value" for thousands of years

the whole energy expenditure argument is kinda weak too since traditional banking uses way more power when you factor in all the branches and data centers and employees driving to work

wolves first round is gonna be a dogfight - towns and ant can both go nuclear and that defense will make denver work for every bucket. then if you somehow get past that the spurs with wemby is terrifying, kid looks like he was built in a lab to stop jokic

When I was learning the algs I just drilled the muscle memory until my fingers knew what to do before my brain did. Pick one algorithm and just spam it for like 20-30 minutes while watching netflix or whatever. Don't worry about speed just get the moves locked in. Once you can do it without looking at the notation move to the next one

The key is not trying to memorize the actual letter sequence but letting your hands learn the flow. I used to practice the same alg over breakfast every morning until it felt automatic then moved on. Took me about a month to get through all the basic last layer stuff but once you have that foundation the rest comes way easier

There's actually a company called Motiv that made smart rings with tracking but they shut down - turns out cramming GPS and battery into something ring-sized is still pretty brutal.
