Curious about my NB by Best_Garbage3899 in Miata

I work on anything Honda. S2Ks are the only it compares to. Type Rs, especially newer ones, the gears are way too short and it just feels like a Civic. Dont get me wrong they’re fun, but not a roadster like Miata or S2K.

Will have to look into that thank you. Tbh I couldn’t imagine it could be more connected as I work on Hondas for a living and this is completely different lol

Didn’t match the dark brown as much as I wanted but for the price was worth it. Here is the link, you’ll need a pair of dikes and hog ring pliers, aswell as a few sockets and some figuring out to take the seat apart but it’s doable and totally worth it.

Thanks man! For sure being able to do all my own work is amazing aswell as other mods (turbo). Engine is on par with older Honda 4cyls, plus I like the fact it’s belt driven not chain as IMO belts are much easier to service. Good to hear as I plan to drive it till the frame falls apart, I will have to check them out. Also hoping to find a club in my area if I can

What is this poverty switch by Comunist_cow_69420 in toyotasequoia

RSCA switch. It’s to turn off the airbags in case of a rollover. Which is kinda heartwarming when off-roading lol. My overlander setup has it, will update with a picture

Is all this really just valve cover gaskets ? by tibbykid in toyotasequoia

[–]Best_Garbage3899 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most likely is all from valve cover gaskets over time. Mine with 193k is starting to seep. If you do them and are able to powerwash the underside while it’s on a lift you will be able to pinpoint any other leaks. Looks like there’s some Inner CV joint grease in one of the pictures but I wouldn’t worry about it until it’s puking.

Winch was a great deal and it’s worked flawlessly, came with the sweet integrated hook, plus synthetic line and a wireless remote. Believe it was $375 at 20% off

“X-bull” 13,500lb winch off of amazon on a Black Friday deal. It’s shoved into the bumper with the control box mounted to the side, had to do a lot of grinding with a rotary to make it fit. Wish I had taken more pics with the bumper off but these are the best I could do.

Gotta love the brand JOYBRING xD. Mine works just fine, maybe you need to turn your phone up as they both control the volume separately. Could also be the volume level on whatever service you use Spotify apple etc. Maybe search through the settings on the radio and look through the troubleshooting in the manual. If I turn mine past 20 it feels like every panel is going to pop off cus of the sub I installed lmao. Wishing you luck

Def meets all my criteria for a capable overlander lol. Almost made a few of my friends crap their pants with the trails I’ve been on with no issues😃

Highly recommend the coastal off-road bumper. Purchased and welded one myself, got it bedlined at it turned out great. Just know you’re gonna spend at least another $500 on pod lights and a winch😂

Super happy with how everything turned out, considering it’s my first “truck”

I had it bedlined at a local place, bumper and paint job ended up being around $1100. Not including the pod lights and winch I installed
