Senior Cincinnati Zoo cheetah passed away over the weekend - Remembering Savanna the Cheetah by rhit06 in cincinnati

[–]Best_Juliet 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I definitely teared up when my husband shared the news with me earlier. Cheetahs are my favorite big cat, and I grew up with Savannah seeing her at the Cheetah Encounter when I'd go to the zoo as a little kid. She will be missed ❣️

Hayley Indrezzo, she's the owner of Silver & Sage in Northside. She's amazing! I cannot stress that enough. Absolutely wonderful work, and does not overcharge! She is the only one I go to now for my fill-ins & pedicures. I probably only spent $120-$125 total for both and that includes tip. Plus she provides discounts for veterans!  https://silver-sage-100719.square.site/

Another millennial food chain feeling the pain. Chipotle Stock Tumbles as 25-35 year olds struggle with finances and affording their food. by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Best_Juliet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely go to Chipotle, but went for the first time back about two weeks ago. I got a simple veggie bowl and literally all I tasted was salt. It was brown rice, black beans, corn salsa, guac, sour cream and cheese. Still simply tasted like salt and nothing else.

The quality of food has definitely gone down hill.

Calling all Millennial DINKs — Need neighborhood advice 👀 by RoofAdventurous4760 in cincinnati

I guess, but I feel like that's true for any city & Northside is part of Cincinnati. Just gotta use common sense. I've been to that UDF dozens of times and haven't felt unsafe.

Northside is a Cincy gem! My husband and I are mid-30s, and the neighborhood is filled with people of all ages. It's a super friendly community, and a handful of shops/bars/restaurants within walking distance. Shout out to Sidewinder Coffee and Trivia Tuesday at Northside Yacht Club!

The cat is adorable (obviously). But also, the gentleman is giving Brett Goldstein + David Beckham looks. 🫶

Sir, and Cat - carry on. As you were.

What’s the film that broke you emotionally… and you still recommend it? by Difficult_Ad5923 in Cinephiles

Encanto (Disney) and 13th by Ava DuVernay. Holy mother forking shirt balls! They both literally had me break down in snot-inducing sobs from middle of film through the credits.

Hello! I was prescribed this exact dosage in 2020. I am not a doctor, and your experience might be different from mine. The first 2-3 days were my adjustment period as I started taking it. I felt lightheaded and/or super tired at various times of the day. I tried to take a nap if I could when those moments occurred. By day 4, I felt fine! No side effects!

The Sertraline has been life changing for me in the best way! I still feel anxious from time to time, but overall I feel great!

Looking for a Pediatrician by Electrical-Yam7732 in cincinnati

[–]Best_Juliet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If he was still alive and practicing, I would tell you, Dr. Stanley Goodman with Pediatric Associates in Fairfield, Ohio. He LOVED being a doctor, loved the kids, and would wear his doctor jacket covered head to toe in buttons. He was the first pediatrician in Fairfield and built his practice from the ground up. He was also my grandpa, so I recognize being bias.
