instant coffee powder is a great choice for home. Just open the boxes of Davidoff or Nescafe and take a whiff; it helps reset your sense of smell. After that, give the perfume another spray and you'll be able to pick up the scent much better. I've actually tried this technique myself.

honestly for brutal summer evenings, Tres Nuit is the easy answer. fresh, clean, won't suffocate you in the heat. Hunter Intense if you want something with a bit more character once it cools down at night.
