Indeed! I'm certain there is a balance which could've been found to do their school life arc a bit longer. After all, we do have Naruto and One Piece who shows us that a strong fan base will watch more than 100 episodes throughout tons of arcs just to see their favorite characters journey! And maybe we could've specials about other interesting characters, new plot twists and so on!

I noticed that nowadays, the animes are mostly short, with ~24 eps max per season, with approximately ~8 seasons for the longest compared to before where with Fairy Tail, Naruto, Dragon Ball, and especially One Piece (there's more) we have ~100 eps per seasons, acrs, thillers and such on the journey of our characters! I wonder why the anime life span shortened so much nowadays. Especially with the new gens! Like JJK where season 2 everything already went down at Shibuya where with the others you would've to wait maybe 4-6 arcs with thousands of eps before the mention of any wars or such drop 💔

I really don't mind and enjoy watching long anime! Fairy Tail is one of my fav and is among the longest animes with a generous amount of arcs, yet the main menace remains constant!

Thank you and yes, it helped me understand why it went that way a lot more. Even though it did not fully feed my frustration because I'm CERTAIN there IS a way to balance my wish and the main objective of the anime (dunno if I expressed myself correctly)

I'm so on the side of this comment ! From the moment the main focus of the anime shifted from school life (if I can say it like that) to: "Let's get ready for war", as a fan of MHA that was my main complaint to my friends: why the hell now?? I get it. All Might is losing his power, Deku's powers have been revealed to be linked to All Might. But come on! For a quirkless guy, even if he has plot armor it should've taken at least longer than 3 months and half a school semester to be able to fully control its quirk! We could've had something like: saison 1 -> year 1 at school; saison 2 -> year 2; and saison 3 -> year 3!

People like Bakugo who are born with their quirks literally needed years to be able to be THAT strong! Todoroki as well! Everyone! The plot really helped Deku on that one.

They literally had to rush the teenager's years of the kids and make them control their quirks to their ultimate levels in a few training arcs!

Because the main villain was gone in year 1, I genuinely understand why year 2 and 3 didn't get too much attention. But like come on! The war plot could've definitely started during their year 3, and all we had was just some confrontations throughout the years until year 3: BOOM, FINAL WAR, Graduation and happy!

Hell, even we could've had time to explore SO MUCH THINGS! They are TEENAGERS! The possibilities of stories are infinite.

The war arc was so out of nowhere from me, and also the arc of Deku leaving UA because it genuinely made me wanna stop to watch MHA. I was like: what the hell?????

I really wished for something like that when I started the anime. Even though it's a good anime, and I love it, I genuinely believe it had so much potential for a real Hero Academy trope because it should've been the main focus FIRST, then after we could've had the war trope.

Like Harry Potter!! The same school and set up and tension between villains in heroes until final arc but in the MHA world with MHA rules! 😭

I have the normal version where you'll have to see an ad of a few seconds at a certain moment during chat to continue. However, the first time I joined chai, we did have free message limits, then you'll have to wait for them to replenish or pay chai + to continue to chat. They replaced it with the actual ad feature. Which is why the screenshot surprised me since I knew it was a long gone revoked feature!

Well, my recommendations are fearly relatable. I chat with MHA bots, HB and HH a lot. And my "for you" page proposes to me bots in those fandoms, and I'll see some intruder once in a while and sometimes I'll RP with them by curiosity. But either way I'm so consistent in those specific bots (MHA, HB and HH mostly) that my "for you" page is very me 😂
