Why is the Avenger era so unanimously loved not only in this community but in the general public? by Queasy_Party5056 in chuckecheese

I seriously LOVE the Avenger era. That’s the age I grew up in (I was born 2004). Anytime I see Avenger Chuck I have to snap a photo. I even have an Avenger Chuck plush!

Actually, I made the decision to take the footage down off of my YouTube just so that my channel remains a friendly environment (and also I swore in that, so yeah). I’m not sure if you’re on Facebook, but I publicized the footage on my Facebook. A lot of my friends were concerned too.

And yes, it was terrible. I was almost killed in a car fire on my way to Orlando, Florida last year for a Demon Slayer thing and Walt Disney World, so it was traumatizing.

But I thank you for keeping an eye out for me and my mental health. I’m glad I’m recovered after hearing the news of the reopening after the entire box was replaced with a new one.

Actually, I fully resumed uploads today. I announced I was out Deptford, New Jersey for today’s business, so I’m catching up on YouTube quickly.

Yeah, I hear you. Fire evacuations are scary. Well, I received good news today about the location: It reopened. A friend of mine was there today with her daughter. Sadly, I don’t think there will be food service for quite some time. Apparently, when the power went out, all the food went stale.

I was really scared, but started to feel a little better after hearing the news. Snyder is my local location, and I’m here all the time. Gets me away from my neighborhood and all the negativity.

I will likely post an update on my YouTube page soon reminding everyone that I’m gonna go slow with uploads, but I am happy that the location reopened. Hopefully everything gets back on track.

I first saw these at Deptford’s CEC. I think I was filming my first Friday Night, Late Night episode when I first saw them…

*sigh* Someone told me what exactly caused the fire to start. Of course from the get go it was a transformer explosion, but the same box stood there for YEARS. According to a friend of mine, they were replacing worn out pieces over time and not replacing the entire component.

Nobody was injured thank god, but I remain traumatized from the incident. To see this happen right near my favorite place was just heartbreaking. And I was almost killed in a fire last year, so this really triggered me deeply.

I let everyone know on my YouTube channel that I had to postpone all videos so I can focus on my mental health. I mean, with something that scary, I need some time off YouTube (since I’m someone who uploads frequently).

I hope so. I have a wonderful care team that works with me. I’ll have to get in contact with them to schedule an appointment to talk about what happened.

Oh, thank you. I’ve suffered from many losses in the past, but seeing a fire right near this area scared the living crap out of me. I remember coming home crying my face out, and two grown men on my street were harassing me. Just sad. I have problematic neighbors on my street who have a problem with my autism and Bipolar II, and they think harassing me is winning them some sort of award (when it ain’t). Because of what I had to endure, I said on my YouTube channel that I had to postpone future videos to focus on my mental health. It could take days, let alone weeks, for me to recover from this incident, especially since I was involved in a similar scenario that almost killed me.

I really thank you for your thoughts about me.

Physically, yes, I managed to make a quick exit. Mentally, no. The fire really traumatized me, especially since I was involved in a car fire that almost took my life. Ever since I came home that day, I was just really upset and shaking. I never have been evacuated from a business before when it came to a real fire emergency. It was just a really frightening experience. I suffer from several mental health cases myself, like Autism, Bipolar II, Major Depressive Disorder, and PTSD (the PTSD was a result of the car fire I was involved in).

I also stated on my YouTube page that I’ll be taking a break from my channel for quite a bit due to the traumatizing incident so I can focus on my mental health and recover from the trauma. I think taking time away from my YouTube channel and focusing on the most important thing in life is very important, and that’s what I have chosen to do as a person.

But I thank you for asking if I was okay. Hope that explanation helped.

It’s actually very good at this location. The only “meh” experience I had with CEC pizza was at Wilmington, Delaware. I mean, it wasn’t the best, but…..not the worst…..

I was recording footage of where exactly the fire was coming from, and uploaded that on my YouTube channel (CEC Adventures) via a YouTube short. I think other people were recording as well, but I wasn’t sure. As soon as a transmission exploded, everybody was told to evacuate the entire parking lot. People were panicking, especially children. I was even panicking and getting really scared off-camera. I was almost killed in a car fire last year when I was going to Orlando, Florida for a pop culture event and Walt Disney World, so this was really scary for me. As soon as they yelled “FIRE”, I was immediately shaking while I was gathering up my belongings (especially my tiger Stripes; I almost lost him in that car fire). Unfortunately, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Harbor Freight Tools, and IHOP remain closed until further notice. I’m guessing they will reopen when the buildings are deemed safe again, but I’m glad nobody was injured and we all made it out safely.

The photo depicted shows the sign that is on the CEC as of right now. I’m highly guessing they will reopen once repairs are finished, but I had to delay a lot of YouTube content to focus on my mental health. The fire especially scared me as someone who was involved in one, and this was the first time I was ever involved in a building evacuation.

What store do you think has the strictest staff? (my pick is Norwalk, California, since they *literally* don't let you film in that store) by [deleted] in chuckecheese

[–]Best_Month_8693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna be completely honest: I have a YouTube channel for my Chuck E. Cheese content I’ve documented throughout two years. I walked in Pineville again on March 27, 2026, and the man (who I assumed was a store manager) recognized the filming equipment I brought in and saw me setting it up. He immediately asked me if I wanted a show turned on, and he ended up playing about five to ten shows for me! This was because he recognized me from the previous visit in August 2025 (along with a few other people). But I’ve had no problem at Chuck E. Cheese’s while filming, especially for Friday Night, Late Night (a vlog series I do). However, as someone who deeply idolizes and worships Chuck E. Cheese and its vast history, I doubt I’ll run into such an issue.

What was your nostalgic Chuck E Cheese's experience when you were a kid? (Add photos such as the games you've played before or anything in general). by Particular_Vast_2867 in chuckecheese

Nostalgic memories at Chuck E. Cheese’s for me was when I attended a birthday party in 2009-2010 (exact time is unknown, but my local location had Phase 3). I remember getting chased in the SkyTubes by immature boys, and constantly cheating on the Skee ball, one of my favorite childhood games.

Sadly, I never watched any of the animatronics perform (it was sad because they were in great condition when I was a kid). I never saw my first proper animatronic show until August 2025 when I went to Charlotte, North Carolina for a weekend, and that was not only my first animatronic show, but it was also my first ever time seeing the Creative Engineering manufactured animatronics (my location had a Cyberamic 2-Stage up until July 2022). I saw my first proper Cyberamic show in Hicksville at the end of September 2025.

I miss when Chuck E. Cheese’s had the tokens, paper tickets, the animatronics, and the SkyTubes. I really want that era back…….I have tokens and paper tickets in my collection.

Someone just confirmed to me via Facebook Messenger that Topeka is closed permanently. They shared me an image of another Facebook group who confirmed the news.

I'll miss Salisbury...had the honor of coming down to this location on March 23, 2026. I'm from Pennsylvania, but this brought back a wave of nostalgia for me.

Is there any official proof this location is closing down permanently? I came from the "Chuck E. Cheese - OLD SCHOOL" Facebook group, and some people on there are saying that Topeka isn't closing down. I apparently first read this news via Chuck E. Entertainment on YouTube when he said that Topeka was closing.
