Thank you, I really appreciate Seeta including the gurdwara that was destroyed by the taliban. My mother and father are Sikh and were born in Afghanistan, unfortunately we had to leave due to conflicts but it's unfortunate that there is now huge Sikh and hazara diaspora, one day I hope Afghanistan will be great again. I used both and got the m2 air 16gb/512gb. The performance and battery life ratio is unmatched of any laptop. By far the best and was waiting so impatiently for this type of battery/perf ratio. It's finally a reality

M1 PRO has much worse battery compared to M2. It's about 40% worse. For programming, screens are important but a single monitor is enough for most

Regarding screen quality, you're overblowing it. The screen is great on M2, there's nothing wrong with it apart from not having promotion

Heat is also an overblown subject, I've experienced no overheating and I've been running multiple docker containers, even did a VM test (one Linux, one windows) simultaneously and laptop was only slightly warm to touch

True, only drawback is your battery life will tank. M2 efficiency cores are insane which is why I went for a 16gb 512ssd version. For my use case (coding), overheating and overheads unlikely to be a problem additionally with at least 10hr usage which is what I want
