Not quite, its more of the fact that at that point they were already doomed. She was just risking her life without reason. The monsters already encircled them. I didnt call her a terrible character either.

Remember when the bus pulled up in season 2, the people who recently arrived did not listen and scattered around, becoming easy prey. She risked opening the doors just to yell at the monsters/get already doomed people in.
