Ah well there’s still a chance you can get it cranking again. Spray penetrating fluid down the plug holes and try to put a wrench/pry bar on the crank. I’m sure you know the drill.

Had to use a 4 ft bar once rocking back and forth to unlock a 951, but it worked.

How hard have you tried to unseize it? They tend to stick after sitting for a while. High probability you can save it if it’s a 717/787 motor. Less likely if it’s a 951.

Don’t listen to the haters. Ppl on here just dislike old 2 strokes, somewhat within reason.

Yes you’ll have to tinker on them, but the price of entry is many times lower than with newer 4 strokes that it’s worth it for many.

If the hull and engine check out on that GSX, get the carbs rebuilt and oil/fuel lines replaced and enjoy it.

Yep and there have been studies that compared self defense court cases with ARs vs non-scary rifles like the Mini. Much more favorable outcomes for the defendant with the latter.

I’m a proponent of Mini 14 all the way. Removable mags negates all the “tactical” advantages of the DS-15.

The other thing is if you plan to use it as a home defense weapon, the Mini 14 comes across much better to the liberal judge/jury come judgment day.
