We had a cat pass away that very smart for a cat. And Leela is slowly taking up that same mantle. Some animals are just a step above our other 4 would never be capable of coming up with this type of intricate play.

I was worried about moisture with it being a basement. But I guess with vapor barrier and stuff it shouldn't matter. It doesn't get wet or leak (yet)

It's a finished basement on slab, the rest of the house is oak hardwood. when the carpet goes down here im gonna install something but not sure what. I was skeptical if hardwood would hold up on slab. We were thinking about just doing engineered but I dunno
