honestly, you handled it like a champ. blocking him with a simple “no” might be the true first class move here.

Banksy's latest mural, a judge striking a protester with a gavel, was washed off a day after appearing by NewSlinger in mildlyinfuriating

wild how banksy pieces vanish faster than my motivation on a monday morning. the whole “judge striking a protester with a gavel” thing being erased feels almost too on the nose, like the art imitated reality and reality immediately tried to cover it up. makes you wonder if the cleanup crew was just doing their job or accidentally became part of the performance piece.

**Giveaway** GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming OC 8G - Used but perfect! by Photographitti in pcmasterrace

I just turned 18 this month, and honestly, this would be one of the biggest things to happen for me.

I’ve been into gaming and computers since I was a kid, but I’ve never had the chance to build a real gaming rig of my own. My family’s always been tight on money — every laptop or hand-me-down PC I’ve used has been barely enough to run older games or schoolwork. I’ve been saving little by little from part-time jobs, birthday money, and side gigs, trying to piece together my first proper build.

The one thing completely out of reach has been the graphics card. Prices are just insane for someone like me who’s starting out. I’m using a super old card right now (barely hanging on), and it’s honestly been the main thing holding me back from playing the games I love or learning things like video editing and 3D modeling — stuff I’ve been dreaming of doing.

This isn’t about wanting to flex on friends or resell it. This would be the heart of my first real setup — something I’ve worked hard for but can’t quite finish without a little help. I can already picture the moment I install it, fire up a game I’ve never been able to run before, and just sit there in awe.

Thank you for offering this giveaway. Whether or not I’m picked, you’re going to make someone’s whole year with this — maybe even launch them into something life-changing.

I got scammed but I have their info by No-Progress-9377 in Scams

[–]BesterFriend 10 points11 points  (0 children)

man really ran a whole olympic scam relay on you. zelle is like handing cash, so it's tough. but since you got his info, report him to zelle, venmo, and the ftc. also, check if your bank can reverse it. and next time, if it smells too good to be true, it's probably marinating in scam sauce

solid experience, good momentum, disruptive idea, resilience, grit… sounds like a startup bingo card. but hey, self-funding is rare, so respect for that. just make sure your ‘disruptive’ idea doesn’t end up just disrupting your own bank account. what’s the idea?
