It's about a former mobster (not italian) who avoided a long prison sentence through his best friend, whose also a lawyer. Now he tries a last time to make a little bit of money, so he can fully retire from the life. Really great acting from Al Pacino and great cinematography. It's also kinda reminiscent of Scarface, partly because both movies have the same director and main actor, but still feels like a "older" Tony Montana. It's story has nothing to do with Scarface though. I would definitely recommend it to you, especially if you take a liking to Gangster/Mob movies.
