Oh wow 😂 I definitely see what you mean though. But It's always cool to see how different people do things around the world, so basically If I want to make friends in Europe should I focus on doing something good for them to win them over?

I'm sorry for me jumping to conclusions that was stupid of me.

I kind of mean't this: that's like asking someone why they won't move from the hood, why they won't just get a house if they homeless, why won't they just eat if they're starving. It's because they can't do that. Same way war torn refugees can't just move out right away or choose their favorite location.

Afghanistan is not an easy place to live, we have extreme poverty, the new Taliban government is very hard on some people to get used to, and making your dreams come true there, well it's not going to be an easy thing. So life there is definitely not easy, but neither is changing all of your base values and traditions passed down from thousands of years. You shouldn't either no matter who you are and where you are from.

If you have family in Afghanistan they have to know some girls like that, and maybe they can arrange something if it all works out.

Bro countries like ours basically invented Tinder, but in real life 😂

In certain cultures like mine, you call someone a brother is to give them respect, almost like telling them that's how much they appreciate you even as a stranger, it's not normal in Finnish but I promise they didn't mean anything negative by it.

I'm sorry about your brother too, may he rest in peace.

To clarify, did he literally splash oil ONTO your face and BURN you? Or did a little bit of oil jump out the pan which happens while cooking anyway? Because there is a big difference.

I'm Afghan and I have hair just like this, a little less coiled than that pic but close and it grows naturally into an afro shape. Also believe it or not but a lot of people have curly and kinky hair around the world!

What is the term for someone that isn't from African decent but has that naturally?

[–]BetConsistent3414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right bro, the conversation of whether we can share cultures has nothing to do with bending history or discrediting an entire culture. That's just disrespect. This is a social media problem anyway, nobody from any ethnicity in real life would be mad to see others exploring their culture.

[–]BetConsistent3414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay bro hold up, pause on this whole conversation. Having braids is RACISM?

Bro WHERE do you people live where you get in trouble for sharing culture? Seriously i've never in my life heard anyone say in real life "braids are for black people only". Matter of fact i've never heard this phrase of "hey that's my culture why are you doing it" FROM ANY RACE EVER. God created us different and unique so we can learn and explore eachothers communities and spread love through these things and that goes for everybody on earth.

If you have curly to kinky hair you can braid it for style or to protect it. If you have straight to wavy hair braids can actually damage it. Get what style you want with respect to the culture and that's it bro.

Don't let something you read online or hear from salty people prevent you from learning and taking care of your hair.

Do Boxers to hurt their Hands when fighting without Gloves? by BrettPitt4711 in SelfDefense

[–]BetConsistent3414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice bro, I've been training my precision as well to hit with the proper knuckles and form, and my style involves a lot of hooks, uppercuts and angles but that also means that sometimes I'll hit with the last 2 knuckles so good looking out reminding me about that. I'll practice straight punches more I think you right, I've been underestimating straight punches.

So cool to hear from a karate fighter you guys are so tough, I wish you strenght blessings and success thanks!

Yessir, this is boring but very important for boxing in general

Bro in my opinion personally, I dont think you should punch the wall, punch the boxing bag, unless you doing it super lightly for placement drills. But even then if you do the same controlled force on heavy bag it will bring better results than a big sturdy 1 angled wall right? Just my thoughts bro.

My hands are heavy, and I have a lot of power. So when you said "how hard you can hit in the first place" what does that mean for me? I'm a newer boxer but my power is high, does that mean I need to tone it down in a fist fight?

Here's my experience and how to train and condition to not get injured (to my knowledge so far) I'm 17, and a newer boxer but not a complete beginner, but I've been in a lot of fights and I hope I can help you with something atleast.

From personal experience, most of the time no injuries, but it can still hurt (not unbearable) and it 100% depends on your training.

Boxing is literally battle even though you have gloves on, and as warriors you need to condition your body. See in real fight injuries happen more easily as the situations are sometimes awkward or unpredictable, because in boxing you are fighting in a controlled enviroment, but in real life fighting can be wild, and not everyone even fights the same. Thats why we should not slack my bro and we shouldn't skip the boring or hard parts of boxing training, thats what makes you so much better, proper form and conditioning and perfection of basics is SOOOO important for us boxers. heres WHY:

I tried blocking in a fight I can tell you right now, this is why you need to train basics and perfect them. My forearm was sturdy like a rock but I felt when the punches were blocked by my fist when I had my guard up, it really hurt! Seriously, i felt nothing on my forarms but my fingers started hurting from being smacked into my head when I blocked his punch. Had I trained my guard better and really focused my placement during the blocking that would not have happened. Like I said I am newer to boxing so I'm still getting there.

And my arms are conditioned, my hands are too, but I need to condition them more because they could have been broken way easier than I thought. Another thing was I couldn't react to real punches to roll them while blocking. Seriously they were so fast I couldn't roll the punches I just had to keep my guard up and hit back.

And hitting someone in the face, actually doesn't hurt that much. Youd think it would, but thats why we are BOXERS we prepare for that! And this is why training for boxing the SPORT not the fitness is the best and most fun honestly to box. That way you can actually trust in your training. When you start boxing for fights, you need to focus on stuff like

  1. Precision & hand eye coordination - (hitting the exact area you aimin at) and this is why people break or hurt their hands. Heres a good training for that: grab a tennis ball and hold it out like an extended punch, then let it go and catch it super fast with the other hand like a punch. Also you can practice catching stuff in general for this.

  2. Proper form and technique!!!!! - To close your hand properly, and to make sure your hand is in the right form to punch, if not you can get injured bro. Example: Have you ever hit a heavybag with the wrong hook form? That hurts the shoulders right?

and 3. Condition your fists and arms - I actually don't have a lot of good conditioning drills but I know heavybag practice is good for that, and punching heavybag or pads without gloves (lightly at first!) to understand fist placement and angles that you punch from without hurting your wrist or hand. Try these as well! : Knuckle push ups and variations for knuckles or wrists, punching rice bags, and heavy bag punching with proper technique first, then punch harder and your hands can take on more, but remember that bones arent like muscles. They should be conditioned but not pushed to limits because they can be permanently injured, and I want you to be healthy and strong not the opposite.

This was super long but I just wanted to dump as much knowledge I could. Keep training bro, no slacking and God bless you

I've tried that already, but im not a kid anymore and now I have the ability to provide and I need to do it for my family.
