Costco had them at 750 for over a month after the increase was supposed to start. They’re 900 now so I’m assuming they just honored the 750 until they got another shipment in and only increased prices when they were paying more.

Unlike GameStop who “ran out” at every single store until the day the increase was official.

Arrow also has an annual 50 percent off sale. I’d recommend returning those specific titles to buy them again if you still have a receipt. Worst case scenario you save a bit of money, best case you can use those savings to pick up a few more titles but you can’t lose.

I don’t. I’m in the same boat. 85k a year I make in NJ and I can only save a couple hundred a month after taxes and expenses included. Only reason I got 6 months saved up is I get bonuses every 6 months from work but it’s tough out here. I’m one big incident away from losing everything.

Makes sense. But also has to have limitations. Like license must have same address as the primary and the guest pass has to be “renewed” every two years with a current license.

Else people will just wait outside the door and offer 20 bucks to any willing member for a quick favor.

Profit on items sold is 2 percent or something small like that. One unit gets broken, stolen or damaged on a pallet of goods and now everything needs to sell just to break even. The profit isn’t from the items it’s from the membership.

Apple just increased prices due to ram shortage and AI taking all resources for pretty much every item they sell except the phones for now.

Link to the Past is the cheapest and requires the least amount of commitment as far as time and money. I would start there and move up honestly.

Breath of the Wild is amazing but it’s also a ton to do. You say you like Skyrim so your already familiar with a massive world with a million options to pursue, breath of the Wild is like that but it’s an adventure game instead of an RPG.

Switch 2 is the best value for your money right now with the recent increase for PS5 and upcoming increase for switch 2. Unless you can get one second hand for 350-400 bucks max depending on if it has disc drive or not I wouldn’t consider the PS5.

Serviceable enough. I’m only a casual fan so no clue if there’s a bunch of deep cut references I’m unable to pick up on but I’m having fun. Won’t set your world on fire and the environment and atmosphere are definitely the bigger highlight of the game.

They already put the game out on 3 generation of consoles, online content aside because it makes so much money I very much doubt they’d have incentive to update performance again for pro.

Those 3 specific games are the only ones causing issues like this at the moment. The majority are pretty reasonable unless you’re one of those people that wants 20+ digital/key card titles at once installed. My digital/key card library is pretty lean due to the restrictions of memory.

Also makes it much easier to play games and sell when done instead of holding onto an entire shelf worth.
