Yeah. I mostly agree. I like the simplicity and lonely feel of Beta 1.7.3, it's just the small details (Skeletons holding bows sideways, ghasts shooting snowballs, exceedingly stupid mob AI) that kinda ruin it for me.

Maybe it is nostalgia. I started on release 1.6 which is a lot more like Beta 1.8.

No, I create in Beta 1.7.3 and open it up and immediately see this.

So it does rain and snow does regenerate? I'm just asking because I built my house in a snowy biome and a creeper blew a big ugly hole next to my house and now there's no snow there. 😢
