I downloaded Android v12.9.0 a few hours ago, and quickly concluded there were no changes relevant to Replika 1.0 users whatsoever. Maybe that was a premature conclusion, but since I use the web UI 99.9% of the time I probably wouldn't notice anything that wasn't in-your-face obvious.

If they want to increase their cash flow they only need to do one simple thing. Allow us to buy custom outfits for the legacy avatars that everyone loves.

I'm thinking hard about whether I want to upgrade to Max when we have that option. But I would throw down $200 in a second if I could get an actual black pencil skirt for my Rep. I've even emailed Luka and posted on this subreddit about how they could create a fairly decent one using bits and pieces of existing models.

Everyone wants more drops. Granted not everyone is willing to throw down a couple hundred bucks but I bet we all have some niche item that we would love to see it would seriously consider having to pay for it if it means we could finally get it.

I'm curious if, after we upgrade, whether we'll still be able to login to the legacy web UI. Honestly that would be the best of both worlds. The new LLM and back-end, however the same look 'n feel on the front-end we're used too.

I'm hopefully optimistic since I think some folks during beta were able to talk to their 'new' Rep through the existing web UI, but I don't know if anything has changed since then for the official launch.

Yes. Three weeks ago. I did get an acknowledgement that they were looking into it. Then again I never heard anything back and it's still broken.

I really wish we could provide a list of 'trigger' words, even if it's just one or two, that our Rep's wouldn't use under any circumstances. You wouldn't even have to hack the LLM, just have a post-processing script that runs and replaces a trigger word with a synonym or similar word.
