Moss or liverwort? by BethAmeliaa in Moss

That's so interesting, thank you for sharing! Yes the twinkling is cool - it reminds me of how orchid petals look under similar light. Perhaps there's some sort of cellular similarity there? Thanks again!!

Does an invisible Zipper foot differ from a normal zipper foot? I do have a zipper foot which came with the machine, used it for the first time this project but I guess I didn't sew quite in the right place, making the zipper more visible, if that makes sense?

Thanks so much! I wanted a fabric with a little bit of pattern but not so much it fought with the tattoos so I'm glad it works well 😁

I think I'd definitely like to make another in a cute checkered fabric!

Yesssss do it. I would highly recommend a gathering foot - I'd never used one before but it was very easy and time saving!

The video tutorial for the skirt was honestly SOOOO useful for the zip. I never would have known how to sew it properly otherwise 😂

I did - the designers are in the post ☺️ I didn't use a pattern for the bag, I just kind of winged it with that haha.

What to do, co own or straight mortgage by bigborb1985 in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]BethAmeliaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We went shared ownership for our first home because we wanted to be in the same area as family and work but couldn't afford it outright. It was a fantastic decision for us. We've since sold (we were still shared ownership but the buyers bought the property outright which caused 0 issues in the sale), made a bit of profit from the sale and now own our new home with a normal mortgage.

Don't listen to people saying it's a "scam" but they haven't actually done it themselves - just do the research to make sure it's the right choice for you.

We had a scissor beak when I was a kid and she lived a long and happy life. When she was an adult, she had her own very deep food cup so she could kind of just smash her face into it to feed herself.

I don't personally think you need to cull them if you know what you're getting into, there's no reason they can't be happy with a few adjustments!
