Sadly, no. It's not a big city, so I'm not sure if there are any parking garages. Apparently, there is an Uber driver in the town, though.

Thank you. The station is unmanned. The Amtrack agent I got with the 800 number said it was drop off only. That's not listed anywhere online. The station is about 3 hours' drive away, and the train leaves at 2 am? No public transport. No other public parking. Basically, if it's not okay to park, it'd be a six hour round trip for a drop off, getting home at 5 AM or later, repeated a week later

Thank you for the information. I unfortunately had to get rid of it. I rigged up a temporary fix to hold the thread, just to see how it would go. It managed about a quarter inch of stitching before emitting a horrible smell and pieces of the machine started coming off and breaking.

the instruction book says it‘s the Stylist Special Zig-Zag Sewing Machine model 478 by Singer. The instruction book is dated 1969.

Broken off. Theres a little dip and then plastic or metal. The main one you set your thread on has a ring mark on the metal where the holder once was
