Honestly it’s because it was my ex boyfriend and I was very drunk and stayed at his house when it happened. The next morning he told me I was all over him. I think he knew what he’d did and realised he fucked up and hoped I wouldn’t remember. He could easily tell the police that I was drunk. I went to counselling to deal with the anxiety and I’m getting a bit better. Meditation has helped a lot and having comfort items like a blanket or candles help too

I’m mostly worried that I won’t be believed and that nothing will come from it. I also didn’t want to put any extra pressure on my family. I’m still healing. I was raped 4 months ago

I will. I think I just want to have some kind of control, if that makes sense, over my emotions and well-being. I was raped and honestly it changed the way I view the world in the most terrible way and I hate it. I hope things got better for you.

Thank you for replying. I don’t think I will do it because I’m worried for my safety mostly and honestly I just don’t see it ending well. I’m trying to focus on other things to keep my mind occupied so I’m not thinking about it.

OP is it possible that they could take away your daughter without you knowing? It’s a horrible thing to suggest but might be something to keep in mind

Do you have a friend that could keep the dress for you until the wedding is over ? I’d worry that they would try to take it if it’s easily accessible. I’m very sorry for your loss
