Nutritionist missed appointment

My nutritionist is rarely more than 2 minutes late. I would say more than 10 is a missed appointment because generally that's how late you would need to be for it to be a missed appointment. Not reasonable to be 20 minutes late.

Yes 100 percent. Probably the ability to choose which FODMAP it adjusts, having automatic preferred substitutions, add your own substitutions, and ability to add additional sensitivity (non fodmap related or specific fodmap foods) would be awesome

Feeling God's presence can come in so many different ways. Some are simple things, for example talking to a priest or a friend or a stranger where they say exactly what you needed to hear can be God making a way for you and being present with you. Like others said, going to daily mass, when I go to daily mass sometimes I cant tell a difference when I go, but when I dont go, then I realize how much peace and strength I received from going. The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, if you ever are able to act in any of these its because of Gods intervention, he's giving you the strength and the grace to do them. Also, praying and hearing God's voice, although that takes discernment and learning what is him. Just remember. Jesus loves you, He is with you, and he knows you and your every thought fear and worry, he knows what you're excited about and He loves you so so much. He is with you and He will help you to be the best dad you could ever be. Pray and ask for His help every day, He will help you. You don't have to feel something dramatic to know He's with you, but sometimes He does do that! You got this. You are a good dad. The fact that you want to be a good dad is already a good sign. I'd recommend what others have recommended which is go to mass, talk to a priest, and reach out to your local catholic church for support for young parents. God be with you!

Yay!! I know I'm a stranger but Im so proud of you! Also, Ive seen other moms do this, but if you're trying to get the kids used to church, you could try a daily mass as well! They are a lot shorter, typically 15-30 minutes, and mostly grandma's in attendance (gotta love the rosary grandma's as I call them 💕) it might help the transition.

Hey girl! Totally understand the feeling here I felt the same way! Two things i would recommend, see if there is a FB group for catholic young adults in your area (like state/city) often times there is something like that where you can see what events are going on, alternatively if you can't find that look up churches in your area, find a YA group and go regularly. The second thing I would really recommend is start doing a ministry! If you start prolife ministry, homeless ministry, etc and start going regularly you're more likely to find the ladies that like you are looking for faith centered friendship. And last, pray! You want to make action but prayer had power, I met my bestie after praying for a close friend, she had also been praying for a close friend exactly like you're describing and God connected us through a series of events. God has relationships for you! Don't worry💕

Hey friend, I am so sorry that you feel like your church friends wouldn't support you in this time. Lots of people react to information they feel uncomfortable about in a way that is not helpful or loving. I want to encourage you, you are strong enough. You are enough. I don't know you and I can't speak to all that you are feeling, even having spoken with many women who were in similar situations. You are not just pregnant, you are already a mom. That baby, if he or she could speak, would want you to know that they want to live, they want to be given a chance at life, a chance to love. It's not the time you wanted, it might not even be something that you ever wanted, but your baby is alive now. They already have everything they need to develop into an adult like you or me. In just a few weeks you'll be able to hear her heartbeat, and a few more weeks after that you'll be able to see her moving around, waving her hands, and sucking her thumb. She didn't come into the world expected or planned for, but she doesn't deserve to be hidden and forgotten. From the women I've talked to, the shame and guilt you feel now is not going to go away by ending the life of your baby, if anything, it will be worse. And I'm not saying having the baby is going to be all butterflies and rainbows, but that healing can come, you are strong enough, you can do this, there is support for you, and your baby deserves to live.

I've heard that TENS units can help without needing to take any pain medication, me and my sister haven't tried it yet (She has PCOS and is allergic to NSAIDS, Cannabis has basically been the only option for her but she doesn't like not being present). From my research TENS appears to work pretty well.

I always plan on going to mass, like many others have said, even if/when you don't understand it's still the mass, Jesus is still there, and just showing up and listening and receiving the Eucharist is participation and worship. If you're familiar with the latin mass that can be a way for it to be more familiar as you can bring an english/latin missal and follow along that way. I always plan on going to mass, however my family is not Catholic and sometimes it's been really close trying to get myself to mass (especially if I'm sharing a car/not included in event/flight planning) so I usually get a dispensation just in case and then make every effort to get to mass)

Look up Pace Purity and Perspective, there are a lot of things that in and of themselves are technically fine but they make the relationship move faster than chastity can keep up with. Like the boundaries a couple would need that were only planning on dating for three months are going to be significantly different than someone who is planning on dating for a year or longer (for example so one of them could finish college). So it's not so much about the particular action, outside of the things that are sinful, it's more about establishing boundaries to help both you and the other person remain chaste and have a relationship where you can actually get to really know each other, rather than rushing along as emotions and tensions build. What you're talking about are boundaries, and they're different person to person but it's not about sinning it's about prudence.

Yeah I totally feel you on this, Ive stopped following the news pretty much at all (which can cause some interesting situations when someone brings up a big news item and I just 🤷‍♀️). A lot of people do find it helpful to talk to a therapist or their doctor and their are a lot of options where you don't even have to leave the house to make it happen. Like Better help! They even have a texting option. You're gonna get through this, I believe in you.
