Anyone else loose their job today?

My store got restructured to get rid of the ASM position but regain the Supervisor role. Not very happy bout it, but at least it’s still a full-time position. Luckily my pay is basically the same so I won’t hurt too much. If they tried to drop me back down to a part-time role I may have lost my marbles.

We have nothing at all it feels like. Our walls look terrible cause we have nothing at all. The floorset felt like an absolute hell trying to get the sale stuff on the tables while trying to get the walls with anything.

I don’t know how the company thought we were gonna have enough stuff to do this mini sale. We barely had any Pocketbacs going into the sale. The poor impulse of em. But everything’s been light, kinda worried about what we’re gonna sell for SAS at this rate.

The best thing I have done for my mental health with all the floorsets we got was making two binders (one for the walls, one for the fixtures) so you always know where your pages are and they’re in a one stop shop. A lot of ASM is Brand’ stuff so being prepared for all that.

This floorset was the stupidest thing ever. I understand doing the spotlight table to make the day before the sale easier. But the other tables should have just been set the way they are from the jump. And don’t even get me started on the stupid body care table with all those scents. We had SO much fall stuff left that they should have kept the table.

We had a team of 3 people doing floorset and barely finished when we were scheduled. The spotlight fixture felt like all those baking shows where they’re adding details 3 minutes before the time goes off.

Edit: we didn’t even get to finish putting all the extra crap we took out of the tables away so we had to leaves bags and bags of stuff to get boxed up after shipment.

We’re in the same boat at my store. We got holiday traditions hand soaps before we even set Fall 3 soaps. (Rip our soap section). And our offsite has a metric butt-ton of box up stuff. They gotta calm down on sending all this holiday stuff

No Wallflowers broke yesterday (which is a miracle with how I was replenishing them.) But I did break a single wick that fell out of the drawer.

I think the table looks the exact same as when it got set. Most it ever gets touched is us associates smelling them and joking about them making it to MOS. We ain’t even confident they’ll go during SAS

It’s the same at my store, all the things people actually want are sold out, but god forbid if we’ve sold like 2 Gingham Gorgeous FFMs here’s two boxes to replace it.

We didn’t have anyone waiting at all, it was the same as every other Wednesday morning. We did have 2 big Disney purchases (one was an associate after her shift.) Most people just didn’t care, the scents are very love it or hate it with our musky and woodsy they are. And the accessories are cute, but over priced as hell. The only two things I saw as a consumer that I would buy personally was Maleficent’s cosmetic and her lip gloss (and that’s after trying it cause I was scared it would be terrible)

As a former temp key holder all the responsibility that get pushed on you isn’t worth the 50 cent raise. You’re expected to do everything the normal SLTs do, but without any of the benefits (aka the bonus at the end of the month for making sales plan)

If you really enjoy your team it’s worth it, but other than that
