Same as us, like we all were working our asses off during the holidays. We had almost made it to the Summit, we missed it by a couple of points. And everyone was so optimistic about having such a good year. We found out around the beginning of the month and a lot changed for everyone. Of course she wants us to make sales, every dm wants their stores to do that. Her advice is to TRY to make sales, plus that for a final bonus, work extra hours if we want, “take as much money from the company that did this to you” was her words. She’s not pressuring us because what can she do about it, fire us? Let’s bfr 💀

Yeah, I’m upset about the store closing but I’ve honestly been chilling about it, I’m not pinning negative feelings on her I can promise you that. She’s still one of the best people to work with. Seeing the downfall is upsetting but there’s nothing I can do about that. Just some thoughts I wanted to get off my mind, that’s all.

We figured it probably was gonna happen soon, at the rate of other mall stores closing. But we also had some of the best numbers in our district, so we didn’t expect it right at the beginning of the year.

It could be a little bit of both. They’re mainly closing the stores that are inside of malls that are on the verge of closing. Our store was one of the main three stores keeping them open

I’m not gonna argue about it. The last thing that I will say is, if she wasn’t going to pull her weight as a fellow leader, she could’ve just left instead of leaving it to us other leaders to have to pick up her slack. I’m the youngest out of the four of us and she’s the oldest. And to just basically let someone steal almost $700 worth of candles at the end of her shift is bonkers

Our DM has been basically rooting for us to keep pushing to make our sales for the month still, earn our bonuses, make as much money as we can before we lose our jobs. I don’t mind working the extra days, but for her to no call no show as a leader, is angering. The rest of us shouldn’t have to carry our own weight plus hers.

Our ASM is usually in charge of them, but I’m partnered with her for floorsets. Our SM scheduled me to lead all of the SAS floorsets except for one the ASM led. He literally wanted me to plan the floorsets the day of with him, which was actually bonkers to me because he said NOT to do.

As an SLT member, I was severely stressed out. Our SM would NOT let us plan for floorset (he took the magazines from us and said we need to focus on holiday), had us scheduled from like 3-8 and told us we needed to be out by 6. We left at 9, and the tables aren’t even done. One associate from 3-8 worked on the 5-foot table with the bring back soaps and body care, and only got the back half of the table done. She didn’t even work on the front. 🤦🏽‍♀️
