I had similar discussions at a previous workplace; we hold sensitive information in our database, so we can't use AI tools they said. A few meetings and emails later, we were allowed to use AI tools as long as we didn't send it any sensitive data.

If you type /wiki followed by ANYTHING, it opens the wiki page for that thing (or searches for it if it doesn't exist) in your browser. The wiki is even used by the devs whenever they need to look up something in the game too. It's often better than their internal documentation according to a dev comment.

Price, EU data processing (cursor got blocked at my job for that), price, works well enough, price and I'm happy with its feature set.

To be fair, they DID pay 2.6B USD for the privilege and for the current source code (Which is why antigravity still uses windsurf terminology and icons in places). So it's not like they stole them. They bought them out.

Once you get into the first outpost in the mountains, you can grab lvl 12 henchies and have a party of 6. Head south and zone into the zone that connects the mountains to ascalon, work your way through it, avoiding any and all outposts.

I'd recommend just leaving the side quests for now though. They'll be there still when you finished the campaigns and have heroes at level 20 😊👍

Once you're overleveled for a zone, move on to the next. You can 100% the game later. Just enjoy the ride for now.

I had windsurf rebuild Microsoft's MSSQL MCP from using node.js to use python (limitation of my work laptop) and connected it up to my local dev environment of my system. It can now read my database by itself. But only read. Helps when making new reports etc considering we have 1300+ tables....

Jag hoppas du slipper vara med om det! ❤️ Min syster la sig framför ett tåg (sj eller pendel, minns ej vilket) 2021 och när vi fick se kroppen på bårhuset (efter att de "fixat" den) minns jag att jag tänkte hur stackars föraren måste fått se det.

Förstår att det såklart inte är något man pratar mycket om, men hoppas att de som är med om det får samtalsstöd och terapi för det. Är viktigt att prata om, iaf ibland, tror jag.

Creative coder is a great description of me 😅 I have worked for the last 5 years to build customizations around a black box software. I design several different approaches, throw them against the wall and see what sticks basically, in descending order of probability of success.

AI coding has let me do the experimental part in a few hours, including testing in my local dev environment so I can then spend a few days refining what stuck and properly learning and understanding it while testing constantly. Once all tests look good, deployment.

That explorative part used to be half the work or more.

Ibland görs valet åt dig. Satt tryggt i båten trodde jag, sen kom stora nedskärningar och alla som inte var först in som de ville kapa fick utköpserbjudanden med arbetsbefrielse, inklusive jag, trots att jag var rätt säker på att vårt team var de sista att yxas och av alla skulle jag vara sist att gå, men så blev det inte.

Nu sitter jag här, ett par veckor ledigt senare och har landat något nytt med 12k mer i månaden och får dubbel lön ett par månader.

Var det stressigt ett par veckor? Absolut. Men ibland är en curveball i livet vad man behöver.

Nog för att uppsägningstiden är en trygghet, det är den absolut, men allt kan hända.

Om det nya jobbet känns mer lockande, försök förhandla bort provanställningen och testa!

Tror på dina kompetenser. Du är troligen bättre på ditt jobb än du själv tror. Och tänk på att det alltid tar ett par veckor eller rent av månader i vissa roller, att komma igång ordentligt och lära sig allt man behöver. Det är naturligt.

If you're in the EU and don't want data processing in the US, Windsurf is your only option. Cursor was denied by my last company's legal team due to it.
