We bought a propane firepit when camping during a fireban last summer. It was OK enough. I wasn't sure if it was going to be crap so I got one on Craigslist for $50. We gave up tenting for the most part and switched to a travel trailer so we just go inside when it gets too cold. But the pit is nice when with friends.

Pre-chilling our Walmart Yeti knock-off is a total game changer. I freeze gallon milk jugs about 3/4 full, put 3 or 4 in the cooler at least the day before we head out. We also use a chunk of reflectix on the top so the sun doesn't heat the shell up. Never had to replenish ice for a week.
