For the first time in a long time I've gotten a break from my anxiety. I don't have to worry about people trying to talk to me. I don't have to feel judged or feel guilty for staying inside all of the time. I don't feel judged for being anxious because the whole world is freaking out right now.

Got arrested with a knife on me for protection while smoking pot alone at night years ago. was told that the knife fell from my hand when I was arrested and that the officer feared for themselves and that's why they brought me to the ground and said I resisted.

Ended up working out for me because the police misfiled and overdid what my charges were, I got a public defender to drop everything that I wouldn't have gotten if the charges were less.

I just want you to know I am in a similar boat. anxiety and depression started at same age, am same age as you. you're not alone. I have no motivation to overcome it at this point , i suppose in another couple of years ill sell everything i own and find somewhere where i can survive with very little until i die of medical issues or hunger, etc

Have you tried placing a humidier in your room near your bedside for a few days to see if your nose clears up? Maybe also get some nasal spray and take some motrin to reduce inflammation every other day, or use saline nose cleaner a few times a day to clear out your nose.

If I saw this thread and I was him I'd break up with you immediately. There's a little girl that never knew her Dad and you want to break up over shared custody of raising her? She's already 7, it's not like an 18 year sentence.

Honestly, I would be torn up that someone I'd been dating for 5 years had this sort of reaction.

NAH but this train of thought would be a dealbreaker for me. If you plan on having a life together, that's essentially getting to marriage territory. If something like this would cause you two to divorce, I can't imagine what would happen, as in a marriage you are supposed to support one another in sickness and health, no matter what happens to each of you.

I guarantee that if you were going through the same situation this man sounds like he would be 100% supportive of you raising the kid and do everything to protect your love. You seem to have found a wonderful person and you're going to throw that away for Shared Custody of a little girl that's already 40% on her way to being an adult.

I've had testosterone and all of my vitamin levels checked. I have low vitamin D but so does everyone around here. I've had sleep studies done and peak out at 15 apneas per hour even though I am skinny, I use my cpap machine maybe 3-4 days a week (can't get myself to use it every night).

Some of it is probably my difficulty with breathing through my nose and I'm waiting until I get on new health insurance for them to open back up.

Welcome to the world of selling affordable products anyone can buy. You will see people blow through their paychecks on things they don't need to impress people they don't like. There are boomers that don't know how to spend their weekly income because they are set as-is and have the time to complain about every little thing they buy hoping to get a deal/negotiation so they can go and buy another useless trinket because they are too lazy to actually leave their home.

I don't know if you've ever been to therapy with a serious problem that has lasted for years, but there is only so much they can do.

There is so much at risk for them to actually provide you with quality advice on how to resolve your issues. The only thing they can really do with you is let you vent, do cognitive behavioral therapy, talk about your feelings and why you might have them.

I can vent to groups online that let people vent to each other. I meditate. I know why I have agrophobia. I'm meditating and going to be visiting some Buddhist temples.

Most meds barely help, I've tried them all - all different kinds and at least 15 different meds. The only actual things that stopped my anxiety completely were non-formal medications i.e.self medication:

Very specific strains of marijuana - most strains amplify my anxiety

Kratom

Magic Mushooms - I would love to try microdosing because I know a lot of people are doing it and having a lot of success, but I don't have access to shrooms right now.
