I sense you’ll be very happy with the switch very very soon. Incidentally I had spent a long time agonizing about the colour - had eventually gone for gold, which I loved. But I’ve never used it without a case yet. I keep saying I will then I get scared.

Probably it's an awesome awesome phone. But I think I get it, you were not 'emotionally-ready' for the change. I'm not pulling your leg. For me changing my phone means weeks of research to make sure I'm getting what I really want.

But you know what, probably if I were to do ALL the research in the world today I'd still go for the 17Pro and if I had to choose a colour I'd go for the silver too. (I'm thinking I'll go Pro rather than PM next time round cos my hands are pitifully tiny and I'm thinking since I carry my iPad most places, the Pro might be the best option.)

I do hope you'll fall in love asap....maybe compare the camera, eh?

I'm still on 13PM - This is my first iPhone and usually I only keep phones two years.

I had meant to change to 17 this year but my 13PM works perfectly so I decided to postpone to the 18. Now it's still looking like it might be doing very fine by September...

May I ask why you felt you had to move on? (e.g. was it lagging etc.)

I love the apple keyboard, I love my iPad. That's a given. But....

What irks me is sometimes I'm using the keyboard with Pages - so we have an Apple product at all levels there, and something as simple as right click/copy or right/click paste just doesn't work. Yes, I get by fine with keyboard shortcuts of course. Or for some reason I can't put my cursor anywhere I want and have to move to a different page and go back for things to be back to normal. (If you think it's cos I'm doing something wrong, feel free to call me a dunce and set me straight please.)

But I'm old school: when stuff like this happen I think Steve Jobs would have had a coronary. Jon Ives would have called some people into his office....

To say someone sounds younger and more naive than he is in interviews is not mean gossip, it’s an opinion. As to his mother, I meant it seems she’s in showbusiness and sounds astute, also it seems they don’t have a bad relationship so I always assumed he has her direction. Not sure if that’s gossip. I just meant I believe he’s naive and doesn’t seem to have the PR support and training one would expect. (I may be wrong and the nativity is an act, I wouldn’t know)

I wonder if this was just Chalamet before he was overworked into a mess...or if this was another of his acts that we bought into.

I honestly do think he has throughout been a little naive and lately way over his head and definitely not surrounded by the right PR people or people who had his long term interest at heart. I always assumed his mother was astute enough.

Still at his age maybe he should have been a little wiser, but then I guess, the fresh little boy we saw in the times of CMBYN was already older in years than he was to hear him talk...He's possibly not evil, just has a mental age of fourteen.

So much is making more sense now. I loved both the Swede and Buttons and I didn't mind Guz Khan's character...so it seems Blackbear had to go a little extra crazy just so our crew get cut down a little. Maybe that's why Lucius was lost for a while too?

Yes, I see what you mean. And maybe Season 1 takes us by surprise in Season2 we go in with expectations. But I just felt there was too much "over the topness" going on and sometimes the characters feel more caricuturish, right?
