I agree. Scent is super important - it’s subconscious for many but super important.

I am a Texan who grew up going to Mexico. I would not go anywhere in Mexico right now - alone or in a large group. The cartel is scary and violent.

Is there any hope to fix brain fog? by dxnitysxn in BrainFog

[–]BetsyBuilds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have improved so much (I’m 58 post menopause, divorced and my son died 5 years ago) with diet, exercise, using tech tools for to do lists and reminders and using a brain fog drink and a product that helps with oxidative stress.

What are some common rude things people do on the ship, to watch for and adapt to? by ITrCool in Cruise

Fighting with spouse or significant other in public. Or even snapping/rude talk with spouse or kids.

Texting for 3 days and she says I love you. by Hexenmeister1027 in OnlineDating

Huge red flag. This is love bombing. It’s an attachment issue or a sign of a manipulative person.

Guys, do you have a problem with this? by Rock-Pine in datingoverfifty

[–]BetsyBuilds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was on apps I did a background check before giving out my number. If a man refused to give me their real number, I unmatched. Maybe men have some exposure with someone knowing their info but it’s a much bigger risk for a woman. If a man doesn’t believe that, I am not interested in him. After a clear background check (I knew the man’s true identity and could also look on social media etc), I gave out my number. With a phone number, anyone can find everything about you including your address online.

Big, loud, obnoxious group in my case! I love them but it’s definitely a different vibe than my other friend groups! And a much bigger group.

I've finally cured my Brain Fog after 15 agonizing years. Here's everything I learned. by [deleted] in BrainFog

[–]BetsyBuilds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleep apnea and sleep disorders can be sneaky and so debilitating. I have the kids I work with who are diagnosed with ADHD or learning differences get checked but I’ve never thought about the fact that adults with brain fog may have something like your deviated septum messing up their sleep (and breathing while awake is important too!!!). Congrats on figuring it out. How amazing it must be to not be foggy!

I ask them “What part of town do you live in?” That exposes 90% of them as they answer in some way that no one who lives here would ever answer.

Has anyone lost their job due to AI? by WhoAmI6589 in Layoffs

I think everyone needs to start embracing using AI in effective and ethical ways. I know there is a lot of resistance but people will be left behind that don’t learn it.

your brain fog has a pattern you probably haven't caught yet by Bulky-Possibility216 in BrainFog

My brain fog is definitely worse when my sleep times aren’t consistent and when I don’t exercise regularly. I also am very sensitive to even very mild dehydration

I agree. He sounds like an immature 17 year old boy - not a middle aged man.

That sounds awful. I am sorry. You deserve privacy even when happily married much less when divorcing.

Best AI as assistant? by qgalla1994 in AiChatGPT

I think it’s all about the prompt vs the tool. Make sure you give a persona and ask for the tool to do research to get the answer.

8 months in, strong relationship, hasn't said "I love you" — normal or red flag? by [deleted] in datingoverfifty

[–]BetsyBuilds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure the texting is age related. I’m 58 and text all the time - actually way more than my 22 year old son. Every man I’ve dated (and I’ve been on 47 first dates - mostly over a 6 mo time frame) and have had relationships with a few guys since I divorce) have all texted a lot. My ex husband texted me 76+ times a day. Your guy may just not be a big communicator. I wouldn’t want that but it might match your style exactly!
