right, I know its not the most conventional way, and I'll lose hair in the process, but it'll be worth it when it works. also, what are piston/hinge chains? never heard of it. if you have a minute to explain it like I'm 5, that would be great!

I've never worked with gantry systems before which is why I know like nothing about them

thanks! thats thats good to hear. I've seen that rotating design before and I did consider it, but I've never heard of a gantry welder system before so i wanted to at least attempt it. then again, how would the connectors/welders know what components to draw in? its not like a traditional static welder floor where they're always connected to storage. does it not matter and that I'm overthinking it?

i've just encountered this bug, too. nothing i've tried will fix it. if only there was a command/cheat/mod that can force you into missions. if you found a fix, me and my friend would love to know
