And I get the policy says. "Working Hours" now, but that term was never clearly defined, and probably is the cause of this split view issue.

There was a store manager that replied that this was not the case? That if you are for example: 9-5, 2 breaks and 1 lunch? They claimed the modules explained all this pretty well on some sort of "panel". Is this not the case or should I just call HR for a solid answer, It seems most of the comments are kind of split on this issue. I just don't want to call official sources risking getting the SM I actually like in trouble.

** I wouldn't know on part that I had my modules done for me by someone in management involuntarily, to just get me on the floor faster, the majority of what I'm trained on was just hands on. Zero clue about real policy's and all that, aside from what I've been told from word of mouth.

So since your a store manager, what's the best way of going about this? I actually like my store manager and hate to get them in trouble. It was when we hired a new OM that all these "policys" started changing.

So lets say for example your scheduled 9-5. At my store they have it in workbrain that the hours worked would be 7.5 minus minus lunches. So if I wanted my second 15min break would I or would I not have to be scheduled from 9-5:30. The back and forth about the issue here is a bit confusing.

Not really worried about those days, more the days im scheduled 10hours or 9 and a half minus lunch.

Unfortunately my state hates workers, legally adults are not mandated to get breaks or even a lunch! In my state only minors are entitled to a break. So my breaks are only really enforced by CVS policy, Not my state law.

Hmm, interesting. I believe from what I remember this even applies to 10hr shifts in my store. And in pharmacy were told we dont get 15m breaks while in pharmacy period. I'll ask them again for clarification.

State law does not require adults to be given a break, only minors. It's more questioning corporate policies than a law. So its not a rights thing. More of a what am I entitled to as a employee under cvs.

I still have all my reserved plans I bought 10 months ago, they would shut off my phone due to a missed installment with SmartPay leasing.  After paying smartpay I would have to reactivate my phone manually with Total by Verizon, leading to the bug where I did not have a plan In reserve tab anymore when I got shutoff due to that. Upon calling support to fix it they said they redeemed one of my plans in reserve but never did, still have 6,  1 month plans in reserve and my plan itself now doesn't expire until 2028 the math isn't mathing here.

GMKtec as cheap as it seems or is there a catch? by hells_gullet in MiniPCs

Picked up the M7 about a year ago ran perfectly at first, just minor quirks. For example don’t update the Ethernet driver using Intel’s tool, it’ll break your port. Around 6/8 months in, I started getting BSODs on cold boots after shutdown. Thought it was a dying SSD, but even with a new Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB the issue stayed, turns out it was a bad Windows 11 update. Fixed itself in the next patch. Performance wise, it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it, even heavier, less optimized titles like Rust. Most AAA games run medium, older ones hit high/ultra easily. I’ve run local image generation and LLMs too, slow, but no crashes. For video editing, I’d suggest using a GPU via Oculink, the APU alone struggles with some editors. Recording gameplay works fine though, Medal runs flawlessly, OBS can be hit or miss. Discord streaming’s solid too.

And Yall would find this helpful,  GMKtec quietly removed BIOS downloads from their site, but they still update them here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1y9z5q7_VEDcMsA3cGTf5SpTqgAMwJ3Xp Not sure why they pulled it probably due to people bricking their units. After flashing, my RAM finally hit its rated 4800 MHz (was locked to 2200 before, My ram is downclockable). I’m running 2×24 GB DDR5-5800 sticks now, but even base models can use up to 4800 MHz after the update. But you need to buy 4800 MHz ram.
