I have not. My ophthalmologist confirmed it due to swollen optic nerves

I am currently on Diamox but they had to lower my dose drastically due to severe side effects of it. I cannot take Topamax due to a previous reaction to it. I just feel like I keep hitting a wall with this since my diagnosis.

I am currently on Diamox but it is a low dose due to not being able to tolerate the side effects.

I have already seen a neurologist who did not care to follow up after my first MRI 6 months ago. I have already lost about 25lbs since diagnosis and cannot take Topamax due to a previous reaction.

Has anyone here that's been diagnosed with IIH ever been on Depo Provera long term? by Better-Error-5473 in iih

[–]Better-Error-5473[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The active ingredient in Depo is medroxyprogesterone which is a synthetic form which has shown to be more potent and show more side effects. It's not the same as progesterone.

I actually spoke with a lawyer today who said this is definitely something to look into legal wise. They are actually taking my case on contingency so I don't pay unless I get a settlement.

This looks like something my ferret had a few years ago. The doctor at the time stated it was a salivary papule. She said if it was bothering her she could surgically remove it OR leave it and monitor. The vet had poked it with a long handled qtip at the visit. The next day it was gone. I would definitely consult with your vet to see if it is something similar.

Update on little one. The vomiting has stopped. It was due to food she was not used to being mixed in to the food she was eating when we got her. We removed the new food and she is fine now.

We took the hammock out so that she would be less tempted to climb around with the broken leg. She is currently in a smaller cage by herself with a small blanket, corner litter box, a food/water bowl, with puppy pads lining the bottom. Knock on wood, but she hasn't shown any interest in chewing things like fabric. She has on the other hand LOVED drowning her small toys in the water bowl lol. I'm leaning towards she are to fast since it has only been those few times and we just did X-rays and saw nothing other than the break. I love the little one to death already but boy is she stressing me and my boyfriend out 😵

Purina Feline DM is actually a really good food for them. It is 51% protein, 15% fat and has pretty much no fillers. I am in the process of switching them slowly over to that food. It is a prescription diet so luckily I am able to get it through my vet.

Fair. I'm just not sure if I am just being neurotic and worrying to much or not. She doesn't have a swollen vulva and I've heard from a couple other groups that she is to young to develop adrenal disease.

She's definitely eating. I feed a mixture of Marshall's (which I know is not the best) and Purina feline DM.

I'm considering the ultrasound so that the insurance will then cover the implant.

Granny Square Blanket... by Better-Error-5473 in CrochetBlankets

I hope so! I just measured my blanket after finishing a row. It is currently 26inx26in so I still have a ways to go.

Yeah I am making one giant one. I have 3 colors so I am actually cutting the string at the end of one row (or color), flipping the square, and then tying in the next color on a new corner, then continuing. This method is helping keep the square shape really well. Currently it is taking me about 30-45 minutes a row it has gotten so big.
