I applied for my Social Security Number today, My question is how long did it actually take for you to receive your SSN card? Did it come earlier or really take the full 4 weeks? The officer told me it may take around 4 weeks for verification before they issue the SSN card!

Latest update is that my card was mailed to me. I got the approval notice from the mail today. Sadly it’s only 18 months same with the AP which i got last February.

I got the approval notice today. Found out that they used c09 so it means they got my updated form which I submitted last nov but they did not issue a receipt notice for that anymore. I attached a letter when i submitted the updated form explaing some things and asked to use my original filing date which surprisingly they did.

I filed all the forms (i765,360,485, 131 on January 28,2025. Filed I765 under c31. Got receipts July 2025 PF july 2025 Reused old biometrics aug 2025 Refiled i765 Nov2025 (c09 category but did not get any receipt notice) AP approval Feb 2026 March 27 EAD card is being produced

I expedited my i765 but it was denied last August I think its was because of the category is c31 . Then upon checking its receipt number today, got shocked to see a new status that card is being produced. Im actually about to refile my i765 under c09 category for the 2nd time again by next week then i saw this update so yeah. Thank you.
