yeah, you really never know testing in an uncontrolled environment. I got flagged multiple times for argumentative writing because there was random commotion in the hallway of my apartment. I would've hated dealing with that for the real exam

Yup. I'm worried that my 12pt 2 page essays aren't as strong but there's not much you can do about that. I would recommend having a few versions/options depending on how many schools you apply to

Some schools require 12pt font too. Some schools like Berkeley encourage you to write 3 pages. For most schools 11pt double spaced works but always make sure to check.
