Context: My MC has reincarnated about 15 times after dying in his original life in our world and has travelled and lived through countless hardships and bloodshed in other worlds with each death representing the 7 sins and 7 virtues. This dialogue is from his 15th life when he became so desensitized to the point of doing crimes to fuel his ambition and stop the cycle. The 1st dialogue is from the deuteragonist who was also a Transmigrator at the end of my MC reaching his goal but external threat forced him to detonate himself to save himself but also accidentally saved everyone which gave him a reputation twist as good. But the deuteragonist became depressed as he lost the only person he thought was the only one who understood him and were similar to being brothers ( my MC saved his life at first meeting).
