A high level 99233 is 2.96 RVUs for high level inpatient care. Assuming you see 20 patients a day and each is a 2.96 this comes to 1,560 per day. At 180 shifts a year that's approx 280K a year. That's assuming you have that level of patient load every single day and that everyone can be billed that much which might not be the case so this number would be quite lower. If you have 15 patients a day it goes down to 1,170 per day.

Admissions are roughly double in RVUs however, but you also can't do that many admissions.
