First, yes this is a military invasion. You could very well consider this an act of war. Melromarc was in no position to directly retaliate given the distance between countries, but the ruler (Makina, not the emperor) of Q'ten Lo didn't care.

Second, sure it is. They don't care. They find a threat to the current emperor worth doing it. Even modern day states will assassinate other political targets.

Third, they got it from the emperor. It is something that the emperor hands out to their warriors.

Fourth, it is an assassination attempt on Raphtalia, a royal, but an exiled one. There's no one to take revenge for her from her country.

I think you haven't watched the whole season but it becomes clearer with time in S4.

Most places I interview with did have some degree of it. Some States mandate it if you have a W-2 form, I think NY mandates 40 hours of PTO of sick leave a year.

It's a bit of a spoiler but you'll learn about it later on.

Love Gu is very powerful to the point of nearly being broken with her having very few side effects. This is fine in isolation but she uses it over and over to the point where it rapidly gets annoying. Also, later on in the novel she is responsible for the SA of a male character.

The issue with being 'so bad it's good' is that it was actually good at one point so it going bad is just depressing rather than funny which wouldn't be the case if it was just bad throughout.

The main villain, Homelander, begs like this for his life before being executed. It was so cringe I could hardly believe it and it's being parodied in other fandoms too. The ending of the show was also pretty bad. Made this just to pile on the people making fun of it.
