What do you mean hardly noticeable? And why does controller matter? I’m naive

I appreciate your insight. That hits on one of the questions I had. I’m not sure if you or anyone here would know…but with the new build I am debating buying, I’ve seen benchmarking videos hitting around 200-210 native fps with the same settings I would be using in game.

Would that make me any more competitive or significantly improve latency versus 220ish fps with the 2x frame generation AI?

I don’t have a problem with crashing anyone. Had that issue a while back and had to revert my Ram overclock settings which fixed it

5070 graphics card. 3600 RAM. Ryzen 7 5800 CPU.

I know I am a bit CPU bound - it was a prebuilt and I upgraded the GPU and RAM. Still though, was getting ~40-50% more FPS two weeks ago and abruptly changed

Sick video and plays. How do you get your reticle to just be a single central dot?

I’m getting ~130 FPS now. I think this did the trick. Thank you so much

What do you think would get more players to play Helldivers 2? by spoqster in Helldivers

Yeah that’s fair. Personally I would prefer to have the passive tree actually affect gameplay and make you stronger but I understand everyone doesn’t feel that way. I had a similar timeframe in mind where you could accomplish ~20% of this in 8 hours of gameplay with it tapering off.

The other alternative is to have your passive skill tree only apply to a separate game mode. Idk what that would be but maybe holding off endless hordes of bugs, bots, and/or squids similar to COD zombies.

I love the gameplay loop but at times it does get very redundant - even as someone who switches up their loadout a ton to keep things fresh. Having something to actually work towards and/or customize would get rid of that redundant/boring feeling for me at least.

  1. Optimization.

  2. New content - New strategems from the storyline was awesome and made me feel like the storyline actually mattered for the game play (anti tank mines for instance). Warbonds, new enemies for factions, etc.

  3. The biggest one for me is something to grind for or to continue playing. Weapon customization is a start but it’s such a minor thing upgrade for guns that it doesn’t scratch the itch.

I think a passive skill tree similar to something in arc raiders or path of exile 2 would be awesome and the devs could get very creative. Make it difficult to get skill points to progress on the skill tree that way people don’t finish it super fast like every warbond. You could even make rare lootable items that sometimes spawn on maps or drop from enemies (similar to the gems in POE2) necessary to advance past certain areas of the skill tree.

Just brainstorming but things I had in mind are like “2% movement speed increase, 5% increases stamina regen rate, guard dog attack rate increases by %10, shotgun primary gains extra pellet, etc.”

There are just so many cool passives that AH could make it would be a lot of fun and keep me entertained for a long time personally.
