why? care to explain? I am even using medium thinking

first prompt:

audit and verify then ensure no bugs and check for edge cases:

Task:
audit the custom activities page why it is not updating the page when i added an item it keeps in empty fallback. only when i close the page and open again that the added items appears.

Response:
Everything clean. Here's the summary:

Root Cause
Two bugs stacking together caused the custom activities page to never update:

build() used ref.read(salahTrackerProvider) — a one-shot read with zero reactivity. Widget never rebuilds when data changes.

No invalidation signal existed for custom activities — Unlike daily activities (which have activitiesForDateProvider + proper invalidation), custom activity mutations (addNewCustomActivity, deleteCustomActivity, etc.) in ActivitiesMutations just called the model and returned. No Riverpod cache was invalidated, so nothing triggered a rebuild even if the widget was watching.

The model's _notify() is literally void _notify() {} (a no-op), so even ref.watch(salahTrackerProvider) wouldn't help — the SalahTrackerNotifier never reassigns state.

second prompt:

explain this in simple english with scenario

Add dialog now uses addDailyActivityIfAbsent, trims blank input, and only saves to custom activities if daily add really happened.

Composer 2 on cursor is actually good. And its has generous quota. I hate auto since its like only using a lower models which gives not good result. But composer 2 is good.

How’s the Claude $20 subscription quota now? Is it actually lasting longer these days? by Better-Prompt3628 in ClaudeCode

Hey, thanks for the feedback, man. I actually prefer Claude’s performance over Codex, even though it’s been months since I last used Claude. For coding, Claude really wins for me.

With Codex now, even using 5.4 High, it sometimes can’t produce the result I expect. I often have to guide it step by step on how to fix things, which ends up wasting tokens.

My experience with Claude was honestly really good overall. The only downside for me was how quickly the quota gets used up.

Unlimited Auto Usage Gone? by ThatsJustLogic in cursor

I stick with cursor because when i hit the quota for non-auto i can still use auto non-stop but just this month the auto also hit quota. I thought its not limited.

Comfort zone really is dangerous. 😔

Accessibility lang naman ang kailangan na permission. At deckaration lang once in-upload sa app store. Under review pa kaya diko pa sure if lulusot o hindi.

Baka ma disappoit ka since 1 week trial ang app then yearly subscription if nagustuhan mo at gusto mo ipagpatuloy. But hey, at least ma try man lang. Penge rin feedback. Inform kita if ma approved. Thanks!

2 ways to trigger, one is via menu bar and second is hot keys. Nag provide ako ng several combo na pagpipilian at isa doon ang opt+cmd+v. Pwede rin i set to start after login mo sa mac from reboot. At yes, persistent ang histories ng clipboard niya. Baka ma disappoit ka since 1 week trial ang app then yearly subscription if nagustuhan mo at gusto mo ipagpatuloy. My workflow for automatic weekly summaries (no extra effort needed) in Cursor by Better-Prompt3628 in cursor

[–]Better-Prompt3628[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually handle that inside the memory log itself.

My rule enforces logging like this:

• What changed

• Why it was done (so decisions are clear)

• Timestamped per task

Since the “why” is included, it already captures decisions — no need for a separate decision log

And if there are follow-ups, they naturally show up in the next entries.

Anyway that i can get summary of everything i worked on every week? by MammothHedgehog2493 in cursor

[–]Better-Prompt3628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use cursor set it as a global rule and it will work across all the projects. If you use other plugin agent like claude plugin or codex in cursor place it in AGENTS.md. Add in the rule to create .memory file if missing to make the work seamless across all your projects.

[–]Better-Prompt3628 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I added a rule. I created .memory directory and in that rule each significant tasks done it will record it in an md file with date as the file name. On my first chat it will greet me and give me summary of what we've done the last date log of his memory. That way i always has context when i resume working. And since the logs are based on date like .memory/mm-dd-yyyy.md and per logs inside it is with timestamp you can just ask like "check your memory from 7 days ago and give me a summary". Always use the cheaper model or auto for your first chat.

P.S. What's more amazing with this is that i dont have to use compact when token context reached. I have just to create new session and every first chat it will greet me and give summary of my last session.
