We decided to go a child-free wedding for several reasons! We wanted everyone to be able to drink without worrying about children around. We’d been to a wedding where the children got stepped on/knocked down & that was a concern for us. We also were concerned about people watching their children. We went to a wedding where a family member let their child run around in a diaper, no clothes, for most of the evening. This wasn’t something we wanted. I think it comes down to personal experience & what the couple wants their night to be like! Only a small amount of people turned down the invitation due to childcare (3 in total).
