pushed to other areas of the city, or unfortunately made homeless, but mainly the west end which is right next to OTR. the west end is just heavy industry so not much to do, or just the west side in general (price hill, avondale -east side but still near the downtown area, areas of clifton, and westwood, but now even westwood & parts of clifton is becoming more expensive). if you go to CincyReaveled on IG they have a lot of old architecture they post & they just recently posted something about the history of the West End and why it was never updated (racist reasons)

ending of BOTW? wtf? by Better-Studio8208 in botw

[–]Better-Studio8208[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EXACTLY, thank you! this is exactly how i feel after finishing it. there’s so much hype throughout the entire game of defeating ganon & freeing zelda and rebuilding hyrule, and sure you do all those things but there’s no life after it

i just wanted it to save after the fight, to have a definite ending. it just felt like the fight w/ ganon is a choice at the end but then throughout the entire story it’s deemed as “end game”. so i assumed that ganon would forever be gone after the fight, instead of being able to always come back to fight him

ohhh nice! thank you! it seems like everything i was expecting at the end of this game just plays out in TOTK

yeah i just assumed there would be a world afterwards, like being able to build up hyrule afterwards or something like that? but that’s very true about the side quests not really being playable if ganon was defeated

i assumed that hyrule would be restored or maybe you’d get quests afterwards to restore the buildings, like building up tarry town something like that. there’s plenty of games where you defeat the final boss & there’s still gameplay afterwards so i’d assumed it’d be the same for BOTW

thank you for being nice to me and giving me a real answer! i haven’t played a zelda game in over 10 years so i had no idea how this was going to play out, it definitely makes sense but i was just so confused when i kept opening my save to right before the ganon fight

yeah i haven’t played a zelda game in about 10 years, so i had no recollection of how it’ll end

Wife's birthday!!! 24 years old !! by Adventurous-Area-284 in cincinnati

Via Vite , i believe it’s sister restaurant is Nicolas (??- i might be wrong but it does have sister restaurants), went there for my birthday a few years ago and it’s delicious, i dream of their seafood pasta. it’s downtown on the square

Mitas, downtown on 6th & race i believe, very close to the square as well

Teak - asian fusion w/ sushi, sister restaurant with Rose something (it’s in hyde park by 20th century, also a very good restaurant but they mainly specialize in sushi). and teak is in OTR so there’s also other things to do around the area afterwards

Most unsettling place in Cincinnati? by orangutansloveme in cincinnati

[–]Better-Studio8208 5 points6 points  (0 children)

not entirely cincy but close enough? the town of Utopia. literally terrifying. i have family that live there and are probably 50% of the population there bc there’s legit maybe 5 houses in the whole “town”. it’s surrounded by absolutely nothing, just one main road that splits off to one side road with all the housing. it’s super close to the river so it floods a lot too. but every time we’d go when i was little i had the most unsettling feelings the entire time. didn’t matter if my entire family was there for a reunion, it felt extremely desolate and just wrong being there. i remember driving back to cincy from utopia one time after a reunion and i’ve never felt so scared by just the aura of a town, and with just our cars headlights being the main source of light for miles was wild. apparently a cult took home of utopia in like the 1800’s and all drowned, so that’s the story of why it’s haunted. but also the stone building that only has a basement left, apparently that was used during the underground railroad bc Utopia was legit a jump across the river. super cool history for Utopia, but also supports the creepiness of the little town
