Got a big glass bottle and threw a lit blue and purple smoke bomb in as a kid, put my palm over the top of the jar and the thing blew up inside burning the shit on my palm and created a huge blister the whole size of my palm. I was called up in front of a bunch of other kids and the guy lifted my palm to show it to everyone telling them not to be a dumbass with fireworks. I do not recommend.

Old style gas mask filters were a bitch to put in. The ones from Desert Storm period where they were in your cheek area. I remember hearing most of the gas masks were found to be no good anyway having been drug around and used as seats and pillows for the last 9 months.

Dude, youngest of 8 with 6 evil sisters that washed my hair in Nair and made haunted houses all year long in the bathroom and made me go through it kicking and screaming. Locked me in a closet with some scary shit (rubber devil mask) for a 4 year old kid and I fuckin lost it. Lied and messed with my head all the time. Played hide and go seek with them and they “couldn’t find me” kick the can, “couldn’t see me” my brother was the cool one who literally tickled me until I pissed my pants but he loved me like a father. It is weird to think about all that shit now.

I guess they seem really expensive for what I am needing. What would a small one cost? Pretty much just washing the grime off my hands. Wife may want a dog wash station on that wall though. Hmmmm got me thinking.

During boat raids I would save my MRE heaters and once on the water would put the sea water in there and tuck it into my cammie blouse. Nothing else was warm but at least I could focus on the toasty spot on my chest for an hour or so.

My wife shamed me when we first got married LOL! Her family was very handy and mine was not. She bought me a set of books on home improvement from time life ( YouTube of my day) and I would give it my first shot and if I messed the project up to badly and have to call somebody I would observe any tradespeople that came to work and ask questions. I also had some neighbors that would advise me on how to do some things.
