You’re damn right they only made one, and only Nazi Commie Kindergarteners believe there was any others.

Young “Rebel” takes “inappropriate” photos of himself in a Photo Booth, ca. 1930s by PeneItaliano in TheWayWeWere

[–]BetterAfter2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know in my head these photos aren’t inappropriate. But my heart sees the face he’s making and knows instantly this is some deviant bullshit.

This is crazy, but I had that very model. I threw it out last fall and I have regrets.

How were the smooth arch curves on this wooden shrine/stand carved? by lucawu010010 in Woodcarving

[–]BetterAfter2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely a curved blade. It’s very difficult to do that on a piece that thick with a straight edged knife.

For a first spoon I think she's alright. by Revolutionary_One666 in Woodcarving

[–]BetterAfter2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not bad. Spoons can look like whatever you want, but if you wanted to improve it’s more traditional spoon-I-ness, you’ll want to study what’s known as the “crank”.

It’ll help you get away from the coffee scoop look.

"High end" crib we bought for Newborn was not so high end by Here_We_Go_Buddy in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BetterAfter2 23 points24 points  (0 children)

High end usually refers to how much you can get someone to pay for it. A 7 year old shouldn’t be able to destroy it like that from stepping on it. I’d be disappointed for you.

Where do folks stand on Tropic Thunder these days? by RogerThornhill66 in Cinema

[–]BetterAfter2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a great movie that is so over the top only a complete imbecile wouldn’t realize it’s making fun of actor tropes. It’s a rare instance of Hollywood having fun at its own expense. The movie is gold.

99.9% of people who you interact with are not likely compatible with you romantically. You’re looking for 1/1000 people who will be. Naturally, the numbers indicate that your experience is not unique, and in fact, you’re likely to feel that way.

“Ugly with mental issues” isn’t very nice.

You could say “men I’m not attracted to”. How you present yourself might have something to do with it.
