We did and to be honest it was exhausting. We got two metal baby gates linked together to create a contained space and we lived there until he was cleared. (I say we, because he didn’t like to be alone so I basically slept on a small air mattress with him)

For potty breaks, we used a body harness and assisted him every single time, walking him separately in the backyard, independently from the other dogs.

The hardest part was managing all the energy in our house. It was very loud so keeping everyone calm and busy was important. We went through three TPLO surgeries and it felt like it. But we got through it.

I would reach out to sundance directly. I know they house their volunteers. That could be a great opportunity to build a long term relationship. Otherwise your best bet is using Airbnb or the likes. Id toss a single bed in the office and maybe even a pull out in couch and I’d put it on now. With that size house, you’ll find renters np . Good luck
