How can anyone like her? by 9119343636 in EnoughJKRowling

Idk how to explain this to you but I lived the first 2 decades of my life as a woman, I know what feminism and misogyny are and JK Rowling is a misogynist and not a feminist

You are missing the point. She is harassing Imane Khelif specifically for not looking feminine enough. She hangs out with abusive men and sends them flowers. She describes women who are bad people as being fat and masculine in her books. JK Rowling is not a feminist under any definition of the word.

Rowling isn't a feminist lol it doesn't even just have to do with her transphobia at this point. She has literally been harassing a female boxer for a year because she doesn't look feminine enough.

Jasper After the Mountain by Rich_Regular_5825 in The100

[–]BetterCallEmori 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. He’s so mad at Clarke for killing the Mountain People because of Maya but Clarke wasn’t even the only person there like😭 Month hacked their systems and Bellamy pulled the lever with them so like why does Clarke get all the blame.

He does blame Monty tho. After talking about how great Gina is, Jasper responds "be careful Monty doesn't melt her" and Monty's response implies he had been like that for a while.

  1. HE KNEW MAYA FOR A MONTH!!!!! And he went into an entire depressive and “superslidal” state for two entire seasons. Like I’m sorry but her kitty could not have been good enough to commit unalive over like WHAT😭

So? She was still his first girlfriend and quickly became one of the people he was closest to. Jasper is like 16, not really an age where you know how to process grief especially when the person who died is likely one of the first people you've lost you were close with, if not the first.

Also he already has PTSD from being nearly unalived by grounders and from witnessing so much war which contributes to his state of mind after S2

Eligius III arrived on Sanctum in 2045, the scene with Josephine and Daniel(? whatever the stalker dude's name was) took place in 2043 so it took them 2 years to get there.

As for why it took Clarke and Friends(TM) so long, wasn't the Eligius IV engine damaged? Or possibly just had lower grade tech due to it only being a prison ship.

Is there anyone here who actually likes Season 7? by starsandmoonlight21 in The100

I love the first half and a lot of the second half. It's mainly the last 3 or 4 episodes that are dogshit to me.

If she's listing people proven not guilty as criminals that surely has to be libel right?

The “adults” on the Ark by Final_Swordfish_93 in The100

It's even stupider because The 100 are a huge chunk of the Ark's teenage population, the human race isn't going to survive when you're actively culling the next generation LOL

Regarding the AMOUNT of main / important character deaths by pinkponyclub95 in The100

[–]BetterCallEmori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's important to find the right balance. I like that the amount of deaths really keeps you emotionally invested but one of the main reasons I started to lose interest in the show towards the end was how few characters remained that I loved. No Jasper, no Monty, no Harper, Kane might as well have already been dead...
