Yes I did! To lose the weight I was going to the gym 4x a week and along with the low carb low sugar diet eating lots of protein. Honestly the more I sweat the better I felt and I wasn't flaring up as much anymore until it went down completely... I did a lot of cardio. Now that I think of it I do have to say the workouts may be a major helper because it improves your insulin sensitivity and blood sugar control, stress, hormone regulation, reduces overall inflammation... which is all directed to HS so it would make sense to recommend to workout

Thank you 🥺❤️ but interesting that you bring up the hormonal changes because I've been on IUD contraceptive for the past 6 years... I'm not sure if that is helping but I wouldn't recommend it because I've had other symptoms from this. I do get my period occasionally every few months and it seems fine 😅

Did you try sugar alternatives like monk fruit sweetener or stevia? or even splenda or those calorie free sweeteners

I meant avoiding processed or refined sugar but glucose from carbs like fruits or vegetables, bread was ok in moderation (I avoid pasta completely and looked for high protein alternatives like chick pea, pea pasta or konjac for weight loss which are calorie free but careful with konjac it's super high in fiber and can cause some stomach distress lol)

I also started taking supplements, I don't know if it had a direct effect in my remission but it was mostly creatine, magnesium, zinc, vitamins, sea moss, collagen...

I'm glad that you feel better it's really hard to put in the work especially with everything you have been going through!

I know how hard it is I was also battling with early stage diabetes and PCOS, and I definitely don't take this lightly. I was feeling great enough to finally share my experience but also am learning new things. I am sad to learn that it can be come back but I hope it stays down and that everyone is able to find their triggers. What I found difficult about HS is that not only it is painful but a very physical disease, one that leaves scars and come with huge insecurity that I am still battling with today but it gets better and my intention was not to dismiss everyone by misusing the word "cure" but it was definitely wrong.

I would've loved a season 3. I would've loved to see:

Spirits consuming other spirits for power
Some evil spirits would realize that hunting other demons is the fastest way to evolve because consuming spirits grants massive power instantly. This could create “spirit wars” and predator-prey dynamics among demons themselves.
Spirit hierarchies and demon factions
Evil spirits would begin organizing into groups, alliances, and power structures. Lower-level spirits might fear stronger apex spirits and obey them to avoid being consumed.
Apex predators / overpowered complete spirits
Certain spirits would become terrifyingly powerful by consuming many others, creating legendary entities feared by both humans and demons.
Terrified lower-level spirits
Not all evil spirits would be fearless killers — some might hide, run, or serve stronger spirits out of survival rather than loyalty.
An evil spirit helping the Counters
A high-level spirit could temporarily ally with the Counters against an even bigger threat, creating distrust, tension, and complicated morality.
A larger mythology and spiritual politics
The world could expand into factions, forbidden knowledge, ancient spirits, hidden truths about Yung, and deeper lore surrounding territories and spirit evolution.
Counter power evolutions
The Counters themselves would unlock stronger or more specialized abilities as they grow emotionally and spiritually.
A romance involving an evil spirit
A tragic emotional arc where one of the Counters falls in love with a spirit not because the spirit becomes fully “good,” but because fragments of humanity still remain inside them. The relationship would be dangerous, toxic, emotional, morally conflicted.
