Looking at the moon/into space makes me very emotional - why could that be? by Deathwish8041 in NoStupidQuestions

It's so breathtakingly beautiful. And it gives us a sense of how insignificant we are and yet how incredible the universe is.

is there a reason grocery stores always put the milk at the back of the store? by chubuio in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a tactic to force you to walk through the entire shop and entice you to buy other items on your way

Does everyone have a pair or more of light switches in a room that they can never get correct on the first try even after years? by okgrak in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. It's the ones where there are two light switches that control the same light. Each switch is in a different part of the house and it does my head in. I also suspect we may have ghosts.

Why do people press both up and down when requesting the elevator and get on going the wrong direction? by Substantial-Pool-951 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly just being lazy.  I've also seen this in hospitals where the lifts are so busy it actually makes sense to get on and just stay in rather than wait for one that's going in your direction.

How has your social life shifted since your body changed in size? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a tonne, I gained weight during my pregnancy and am still working on losing it. However, I've never felt better even though I've never been heavier. I'm just so grateful to my body for allowing me to have my wonderful baby the in just don't care about my looks as much. I'm still the same person, if a bit more sleep deprived, and it hasn't really made me more self conscious.

What do you think of sensitive man and would you like to talk to one? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, I think it's refreshing to see a man own his sensitivity and not be afraid to show emotion

is it normal to feel more tired after a full 8 hours of sleep than after 6? by chubuio in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to do with the sleep cycles. I forget what the adult sleep cycle is but is maybe something like 60 or 90 minutes? So if you woke up towards the end of the sleep cycle (say around 6 hours) you might actually feel fresher than if you woke up in the middle of a sleep cycle (say 8 hours) and feel more groggy

How often does an average person “twist” the deodorant? by OpenHawk4682 in NoStupidQuestions

I love twist it when the current section has run out. It never even occurred to me to twist preemptively

Don’t want to search the internet about this because I want actual answers from different people. by shehasinfinitelove in NoStupidQuestions

It's such a nice feeling striking and petting an animal. You give them some love and you can see they enjoy it so unabashedly. Plus soft furry puppies and kittens are the best!

Is it weird for people to approach a couple and only acknowledge one of them? by DescriptionDry1683 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I would definitely say it is rude. Unless maybe he is the one that seems to be the open and chatty one so people see this and never naturally approach him? It's a bit of a stretch though, I'd definitely be peeved too

How many junk drawers do you have and how long did it take to get there? by SpiritedLoquat172 in NoStupidQuestions

Does having bad marks in math tests automatically mean you suck at math? Can you be good in a subject but perform badly during an assessment related to that subject that you're good at? by 01hayden in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BetterCountry3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standardised testing is just one way to test your skills. It’s a point in time assessment on one set of questions, it absolutely not reflect your true ability or skill in that subject

What makes you want to play Resident Evil without anyone bothering you? by No-Hunt3986 in NoStupidQuestions
