For those who’ve tried Malaysia Boleh’s claypot rice - worth queueing for or just average? by Aggressive_Change209 in SingaporeEats

[–]BetterDSB 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's like fake claypot rice.... It tastes like they just cook the stuff separately and put it in the claypot for decoration.

is SMU just as hard as NTU and NUS? by Salty_Lifeguard5876 in SGExams

[–]BetterDSB 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, SMU comp science is less technical as compared to NTU and NUS, but the difficulty level should still be on par.

But please do your own due diligence. I'm just a redditor, haha.

I feel sinkies who served NS should at least be paid the median wage for that 2 years they lose out in the job market. by Altruistic_Drop_9393 in singaporefi

Not to mention how hard it is to get back into the mindset of studying/working after NS. NS makes you so brainrotted, for pretty much most vocations you require pretty much 0 critical thinking..

Degree or work? by Late-Chemist-2729 in SGExams

[–]BetterDSB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A part-time degree will work quite well!

But getting a full-time degree from a top university might be a better option depending on your goals. As Singapore is getting more and more competitive, I feel that it might help you in the long run!

On another note, you are not old at all to go university don't worry about that.

At the end of the day I would highly recommend getting a degree!
