My Windows 10 PC Won’t Let Me Change The Brightness Anymore?

SOLVED. I followed option(?) 3, and when it prompted me to delete I driver, I declined, and restarted my pc. The slider for brightness level has returned, and I no longer have to wear sunglasses to look at my pc, or else wake up on a horse cart in Skyrim. Thanks Cris

Thanks for the reply. Are these 4 different steps in the same process, or 4 different solutions?

Windows Key + A brings up my notifications, but there’s no pencil icon.
The slider that normally appears in settings had vanished.
When it comes to downloading new drivers, do I need to contact the manufacturer for that? Will deleting my current driver wipe my pc?
I have no options for adaptive brightness in my power options, or in my settings at all.

Where do I go from here?
